Negative experience: Truly a disturbing experience at this location . One that brings shame upon the whole flight center brand . Never before have a come across a travel agency 500% committed in getting their percentage . But to hell will the needs of the customer . Commissions first. Maybe give your staff some training . Like any training would be a step up from what they have now . There are hundreds of travel options . Some care about customers some build relationships to get repeat business. If you can, we'd recommend you pop into your local store to chat with the team.Regarding your refund, the airlines terms and cancellation rules will apply to your booking, and industry process is to apply for the airline for them to process this back, which with the current high demand on airlines, they are taking longer to process these.I'd recommend speaking with your consultant for an idea of the processing time for your refund.

Negative experience: We used to be frequent travelers before COVID-19 and had been relying on the Flight Center for booking our flights due to their great service. However, our recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. The service has noticeably declined, and it feels like they are very impatient and unfriendly. We visited the Northlands Mall branch, which is more convenient for us since we do our shopping there. But today, when we approached a lady to discuss reviewing our flight options, she asked us to check the websites and come back to her (why bother coming back to her if we can just book it online ‍♀️). It felt like they weren't willing to assist us with the hard work. This was certainly not the experience a few years ago, where the agents went out of their way to provide the service. Hence why we were repeat customers ‍♀️. We used to recommend this branch for its friendliness and helpfulness, but based on this encounter, we no longer feel comfortable doing so .

Negative experience: Last year we booked through Flight Centre, and tried in vain to contact anyone about a small issue we had while travelling. We could not get through at all. This year I wanted to book a holiday, and went to the store twice. I was given an email address by Andrew (the manager?) which was wrong. Tamara who we used last time was away for 3 weeks, with no one seemly looking after her clients. They do not answer their phones AT ALL or emails. We gave up trying. As someone else remarked, the Covid excuse no longer washes. I contacted House Of Travel, their phone was answered, email was replied to immediately, tickets booked and paid for that day. $9000 booking. Don't waste your time, go to House Of Travel or anyone else.

Negative experience: Avoid booking through Gon Vega. Poor communication and no attention to detail. Used Gon at FC to make it easier to book our holiday but it ended up being more work than if we booked it ourselves. Asked three times for the payment details and was never given them. Was then told our payment was overdue and we risked losing our booking. Still had to ask twice for the link to pay by credit card. Once overseas we realised he’d booked our transfer on the wrong date. Names spelt incorrectly, wrong details given to accommodation. One of the resorts was trying to get hold of us but all messages were going to Expedia which Gon had used to book so we had no idea they were trying to contact us. Overall a rubbish experience and I would recommend booking anywhere but here. Cheers for the headache and I hope you get better at doing your job.

Negative experience: At first we got some good flights with very low travel times (basically the only reason we chose to do it through an agent) until it was canceled, it took our travel agent 2 weeks to even get back to us, we even had to physically go to the store just to hear from him. So 2 days before flying out we finally got our new flights.. travel times had doubled!! Im shocked that it took two whole weeks to even get back in contact. Very stressful ordeal. Negative experience: Had a great experience with a helpful agent right up to the point where we wanted to make a deposit to secure our booking. Despite trying to call and sending multiple emails to our agent, we never received a reply. After three weeks we gave up and booked the trip ourselves directly as we didn't want to book through somewhere where we can't even get in touch. She helped me book my first flights in person then I needed to book more while still in Europe and she was replying to my emails super fast and was so helpful despite the long distance and time difference. Fantastic experience: I have been arranging my flights through Flight Centre for the last18 or so years. Recently had one of my flights back from U.S cancelled without being advised by United Airlines. Rang flight centre from Oregon in a panic and Dalton had arranged new flights and new connections within a few hours, for the next day. He was calm and certainly put me at ease (believe me, I needed that!). Impressed with Dalton's service and will certainly use FC Northlands again!

Negative experience: This business has a strong feeling of wanting take your money and get their cut. Once you've booked the flights feels like you quickly become an afterthought. Any changes (especially urgent) with the "24/7" number are a joke, you wait on hold for hours before being disconnected while overseas typically racking up an expensive bill during the process. Not reliable as it is advertised by staff and adverts, the complete opposite sadly. End of it all, we ended up almost $1000 out of pocket due to a cancelled flight and no one being available from flight centre to assist. Also we found the sale rep we worked with was quite slow to respond to emails when you have questions, while they got in touch eventually some emails did get missed entirely sadly. First time booking with flight centre and safe to say would prefer book directly in future as the airlines were unable to help us when it was needed the most since we booked through flight centre.

Negative experience: Hi, I m absolutely disappointed with the service from northlands Flight centre. I booked ticket for may 29 th. The sales person send my ticket via email on June 29th. Went to check in its 29 th. Been to flight centre . And it was too late . Next sales person gave me ticket 30 th may via Air Newzealand and charge 1300 dollars. Canceled the 29 th Quantas one. She said she will check with the other sales person and will send email to me. Waited a week nothing happened. I checked with Quantas they said I will get refund if applied through flight centre. It’s so disappointing. They put surname wrongly. Very bad service. Till this time no one contacted me.

Negative experience: Shocking and very disappointing experience booking my holiday flights to the whole family with Flight Centre... First and will be last time for me to deal with Flight Centre. Not trustworthy and they don’t care much about their customers. What’s even more shocking is the ‘Customer Experience Manager’ where she didn’t bother to even pick up the phone and hear my story or complain and all I got from her is a disappointing email stating that her staff didn’t mislead me and they’re not at fault!!! Great job Miss!!! I replied to this shocking email and requested of her to even listen to the calls but the answer I was told, ‘sorry calls are recorded for training purposes only and not for this purpose’… OH REALLY!!!!! I have been misled and given false and incomplete information, all they were after is making sure I pay the money for the tickets in full even though the flights are 5 months away! And the Airline is not requesting the payment until 8 weeks before flying!!! I’ve been flying in and out of New Zealand at least once a year for the past 25 years and never had issues with my bookings, the success behind this is that I NEVER booked my airline tickets with FLIGHT CENTRE…. Now that I’ve learnt my lesson the hard way by being deceived and misled by Flight Centre staff and manager and payed thousands of dollars for wrong dates because their system went down twice booking the dates I wanted!!!! Oh and let me also add the tickets were not price matched either!!! So I paid full priced tickets!!! I wanted to make sure I pass this horrible experience and service to everyone to be careful so their holidays wouldn’t be ruined as mine did, thanks to Flight Centre!!!

Negative experience: Absolutely awful. Typically we book our own holidays but decided to try Flight Centre for some cheaper flights at a travel show and have not stopped regretting it. Every step of the way has been laid with mistakes and excuses, the biggest being me and my wife were never requested to sit together on our long haul flights. In typical fashion Flight Centre and the airline were quick to blame the other, but I'm inclined to believe the airline as they showed me how quick and easy it is to set up, where my response from Flight Center was "if we book them together then they should seat you together." Something United Airlines has confirmed not to be true. We couldn't get our agent or a call back in general for months, up to the final week of us leaving for our holiday when we took it upon ourselves to go in and get our tickets. We ended up booking most things on our own as they were cheaper and had more incentive. What is most disturbing is our agent, Gon, is a "Senior Team Leader," and still all we got was excuses and shrugging off for their mistake. Holidays are expensive and I recommend finding someone you trust to handle them. Flight Centre clearly doesn't care.
