Fantastic experience: She is fantastic and she's booked a dozen flights for me. She gets back promptly and advises me when sales are coming up. She always tries to get an aisle seat as I prefer. I had a family emergency this year overseas and she went above and beyond to secure my swift travel. Very grateful for her care and attention.

We explained what we wanted our trip to look like with no clue about Europe. She gave us her advice and recommendations and even where to save money. He goes out of the way (often out of work hours) to get us the information we need and support us during our travels. Even when we have checked pricing direct with airlines Patrick gets us better deals. Patrick always goes out of his way to help us. Massive thanks to him and his team!

Fantastic experience: We booked our Fiji trip through HOT Mt Eden. We received fantastic service. We were given airport departure cards along with our travel itineraries, which definitely saved time during the departure day at the airport. All dining and shopping options were well advised which really helped us a lot while we were on our holiday. Additional excursions were recommended and advised for the time of our stay. Very professional service and look forward to booking our next holiday with you guys! :)

Fantastic experience: I've only dealt with Michelle McCarthy on the phone as I live in the South Island. Her knowledge has helped bring together a 5 week trip to the Balkan states with stop overs in random destinations to and from Europe. Fantastic experience: My Niece used her credit to book my daughter and I to Nelson. The day we were due to fly I felt sick and had a Covid test to be safe. My daughter flew on the Friday and I rang to postpone my trip one day. I feel Gayle may have only been doing her job but she split the ticket so my daughter could fly and she emailed me to say Air NZ had sent a credit and that I could book with a Negative test. I rang back the same afternoon, got a young man (I forgot his name)who booked my new flight and gave me heaps of advice. Fabulous service, can't thank those who helped me enough.

Fantastic experience: Friendly agents and good service. They charge for their services but make up the cost with the services they provide and the extra care they give when booking and making the process easier. Especially for long or complicated journeys I'd suggest a travel agent to help bring it together!

Fantastic experience: I booked with House of Travel Ponsonby - Patrick McCarthy - for a recent trip to the UK. I had originally planned to do this directly myself but now I am so glad I booked with Patrick, following a recommendation from a family member. Not only did he take all the worry out of the experience during the Covid pandemic but he also saved me an enormous amount of work and stress after I had a serious car accident in the UK. I needed to rebook my flight home at a busy time of year and he took care of everything, giving me good options and arranging transit care, which I needed due to my injuries and trauma. He went the extra mile, working during time off, to organise everything for my smooth return home at a time of great distress for me. I can't speak highly enough and will definitely book through him in future.

Negative experience: Never seem to answer the phone. Have been trying now for two weeks.

Fantastic experience: Hands down some of the best customer service I have ever had. Had to rebook twice, once due to covid, and the second due to a family emergency. Patrick at HOT was professional, quick, and knowledgeable. I am recommending him to all my friends and family as I couldn't be happier with his service. If I could give 10 stars I would!
