Negative experience: I recently contacted Gill Travels to book flight tickets from Auckland to Amritsar, and my experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, the communication was very poor. Despite calling multiple times, I either received delayed responses or no response at all. When I finally managed to speak with someone, they were unprofessional and lacked the basic knowledge about flight routes and prices. The agent kept providing conflicting information and wasn’t transparent about the available options, which made the process incredibly frustrating. After wasting days trying to get a clear booking, I ended up having to look elsewhere for better service. I expected much more from a travel agency, especially when dealing with international flights. I would not recommend Gill Travels to anyone who values their time and money. Extremely dissatisfied with their service.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with Gill Travel. I booked my tickets, but due to a medical issue, I had to cancel. I agreed to the cancellation fee, which ended up being more than what the airline charged. It’s been over 7 weeks, and I still haven’t received my refund. Each time I call, I’m told I need to wait another 5 to 7 weeks, despite the fact that they’ve already received funds from the airline. The representative, Mukul, claims to be in Auckland but is actually in Delhi, and he has been rude during our conversations. I strongly advise caution when dealing with this agency. It feels like a scam.

Negative experience: Had a delayed baggage experience in HKG, I had to fend for myself to get Cathay Pacific's Baggages Services contact details. No customer resolution at all! Not happy and will never become a repeat customer.

Negative experience: DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$ BOOK WITH THE AIRLINES INSTEAD!! Booked 3 tickets (one way) with them, myself, child- 4 years and infant 4 months. For medical reason we were not able to go overseas and enquired the process of either rescheduling or cancellation. For rescheduling, we were advised to the following charges to reschedule- NZD - 720 per adult // NZD - 650/per child // NZD 508/per infant ** approx. is the date change charges Which is ridiculous, when we booked infant ticket we were charged about $150 as they sit on the lap. And rescheduling fee was $508 Anyway, the rescheduling fee for other travellers was ridiculous too! When we checked airlines website to book in the ticket, their rescheduling, cancellation and no show fee was wayyyyyyy cheaper than these guys. They keep a huge chunk for themselves! In the end, they have a great excuse of saying “different dates and it depends on tickets!” If we were to cancel the tickets, we were getting refund of $70-$110 that too within 8-10 working weeks, just ridiculous! Will never book with these guys anymore. Don’t fell for cheaper price of the tickets!

Negative experience: Worst service. I have wasted my $1500. They guide me wrong. I bought ticket to india through dubai. They said i can get visa on arrival. But when i reached at Auckland airport they didn’t give me permission to fly. When i call them the lady always sitting their n misguiding people even she didn’t know anything then she refused. She said she didn’t said but i had a proof. Then they said its ok we will arrange another flight for you this evening or tomorrow morning as of now you can come back home coz the Emirates people ask them questions in front of me but they didn’t have any answer. Later when i reach home they refund me $300 out of $1500. This is way they running the travel company. Still alot of things happened but i short i will never buy tickets from them even they have cheapest special in world. I also told all my friends n relatives in New Zealand. We not gonna buy from them. They are worst in Auckland. Dont know the value of people money. Should get some professional training before guide other people. If someone think I am wrong then reply this review. I will explain u everything with proof.

Negative experience: We have booked our ticket to india from this gill travel, but our Australian transit visa is not approved for my wife and we paid $5300nzd and out of that THEY HAVE CHARGED CANCELLATION FEE OF $2350 half of the money they have took without any reason also we need to chase this agency to transfer the refund more than 10WEEKS OF TIMING THIS IS A BIGGEST RIPOFF AND USELESS AGENCY I WOULD DEFINITELY SAY IF YOURE BOOKING WITH YOUR FAMILY DONT EVER USE THIS GILL TRAVEL ONE OF THE BIGGEST RIPOFF. I would definitely give them not even minus 1 for their service.

Negative experience: The name should be Lying travels instead of Gill Travels What they say never deliver and SOHAIL the fraud. After that Preet and then Vipin. I got tickets to Fiji few days back for my family. Sohail said food and screen including but in the plane my family members didn’t get anything. I gave a call and had a word with Sohail and he said he had a word with airline while coming back everything is sorted. Again the same thing happened. And Preet gave me a call to apologise and said will look into the matter and get back to you. No call back Then VIPIN called and will investigate the matter and get back to you but nothing. I don’t think these guys are reliable. The worst experience and biggest mistake that I got tickets from these guys. They should get 0 stars

Negative experience: My name is Harpreet. I bought 4 tickets 3 returns and a one side 4 month in advance through staff name Jaspreet. After two months which is now. initially Jaspreet said airline cancelled the flight you need buy new ticket which around $500 expensive. Plus they won't give full refund for my ticket which got cancelled by airline as they charging $150 consolidation fee then I rung both airline and they advised they don't charge consolidation fee if they cancelled their flight. Totally disappointed and feel scammed. I need buy new ticket to pay $500 extra plus I'm not even getting full refund for cancelled ticket I'm still trying to understand what was my mistake and I think I won't buy flight tickets from gill travel anymore. Always go with Airline direct you will save money and would get better customer service.
