Fantastic experience: We booked a trip back to the UK and Europe earlier this year. We were pretty anxious that everything would go well due to Covid rules and restrictions, but Darren made sure everything went smoothly and communicated with us the whole time. Very happy with the service provided!

Negative experience: Booked a trip to Mexico through this branch, I really wasn't impressed and I should have booked it all myself. No communication from them once the trip was paid and nothing from them on what we needed to know before our trip or forms. No tips or tricks on the location we were travelling to, really lack of basic customer service. No pre-warning of using a credit card and the fees that were incurred. Paid an extra $400 in credit card fees for absolute rubbish service. Pity there isn't an option for zero stars.

Fantastic experience: Needed to get back to N Ireland to see my mum after missing my Dads funeral earlier in the year. Darren was on the ball from the start, getting me several different flight routes and dates, which he held till I was very lucky to grab a spot in MIQ. Once booked, there were constant updates from him on the ever changing rules in Singapore and the UK and great advice on a company doing the less invasive saliva test for travelling. The trip was amazing, in great part, due to the help from House of travel and I wouldn't hesitate to use then again once we are "released" from limbo and can begin to travel again properly. cheers HOT and bring it on!!!

Fantastic experience: Darren has gone out of his way in these very difficult times to help, we are living outside of NZ and have had to work through flights for family which were cancelled, and also our flights to get home. Not only has Darren provided fantastic advice and direction, he has been wonderful to deal with and gone beyond his job description for sure! I will be using Darren again for bookings and can highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend House of Travel St Heliers. I have been using them for all my travel arrangements for the last 4 years and they offer great advice on routes, best deals, travel insurance and everything you need help with. Their service during Covid has been exceptional. Between cancelled tickets, refunds, rescheduling and help during the crisis, Darren was their for me, helping me every step of the way. Friendly, super helpful, professional and caring, he went out of his way to make sure that I was looked after in every possible way. Best travel agent ever!

Fantastic experience: Darren from House of Travel St Heliers is an absolute saint of a man who helped us in our time of need. I can’t thank him enough for being the person we could trust to help arrange travel during a very stressful time. When I found out that my grandma was in critical condition in Japan, I reached out to a friend to see who could help us arrange travel for my mum to fly home immediately. Darren was recommended to us by our friend as being the best of the best, and this was absolutely the case. I reached out to Darren for assistance in navigating the complexities associated with arranging immediate international travel during Covid. Darren was able to immediately book flights for my mum, gave me all the information my mum needed to obtain clearance for entry into Japan and was on-call for us all hours of the night and weekend to answer multiple questions. When plans changed multiple times Darren remained patient throughout and always went the extra mile to help. I feel like I’m a relatively good judge of character and I believe Darren is a genuinely good person who wants to do the absolute best for his clients. He was able to take away so much of my workload during a very stressful time and I will always be thankful for him. Thanks again Darren!

Negative experience: I had absolutely shocking experience with this branch and their employee Amanda McAllister. No post sale service whatsoever.

Negative experience: My personal experience was terrible. A two weeks ago, I have spent just under $10,000 on air-fares with this branch. The moment transaction was over, Amanda McAllister from the agency stopped the communication and has never answered our calls and/or emails. We are a family of five, with three children and are placed to sit separately in a plane on long haul overseas flight. We were never advised that this may be the issue, or given the opportunity to upgrade or chose a different option. Amanda's focus was only to achieve a quick sale. Alex

Fantastic experience: Popped into House of Travel St Heliers to get an idea of what it would cost me to do some post university travel and the routes I could possibly take. Amanda was extremely helpful and although my plans are future one she still keeps me notified on certain packages and deals I may be interested in. Will definitely be back in when finalising travel plans.

Fantastic experience: We have booked 2 flights/holidays with St Heliers House of Travel recently and the staff there were extremely helpful. Amanda got us the best deals with airlines and hotels and was great at finding us exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend them for any holiday arrangements, big or small.

Negative experience: Absolutely AWFUL experience. I dealt with Amanda McAllister who left me feeling like a nuisance the whole time. She missed deadlines to me she created and was curt about being followed up. When finally an itinerary was provided and I asked if there was a better flight option than the one suggested with a ten hour stop over in LA she wrote back and I quote "No. The schedule is what it is". When I tackled her about her attitude and the things that were wrong on the schedule, she HUNG UP ON ME. I don't think I've ever experienced worst customer service. A wasted two weeks and a miserable experience. Regardless of the details this is exactly how NOT to treat a customer, let alone one who was just about to hand over $12,000. Never again. NEVER
