Fantastic experience: Good services
Negative experience: This is a big fraud. I have been ripped off. Like a few other people have mentioned below that how their tickets were cancelled and stuff. I have been there as well. I booked a couple of months ago and paid the full amount via credit card but just a month ago or so I received a call from the airlines saying payment to this ticket hasn’t been made yet. I had already cancelled the ticket before that but have not received the payment. I rang these guys and couldn’t get through initially. Finally I got in touch with the new owner of the company and his response was as rude as possible. “I am not responsible for your loss and we cannot refund, you need to contact the previous owner”. This is what I was told. What should be done in this case. Where do I take this case?
Negative experience: Not Even a start.K5 Travel NZ is a big time FRAUD. Please be alert. Buy tickets at your own risk. I am another victim. Purchased International +Domestic on April with paying online immediately. They gave me the (So called) confirmed ticket as well.1st of week of August I got a call from Cathay pacific that my ticket has been cancelled because K5 Travel has not paid the money to them . I tried to reach all K5 contacts which are no longer accessible. With great difficulty (Level 9, 87-89 Albert st office closed) I have reached out to the new Owner of K5 Travel Arun Chakrabarti who has assured me on mail writing that he will sort out the mess without impacting my ticket/Travel date. He made me run behind him for a month, with mentally torturing not picking the calls . I cant express the amount of stress I had been thru. Finally he wrote , I can’t help go after the old Owner Kunal for your ticket refund money. Spoke to Kunal ,he said I have moved on and handed all over to new Director Arun. Airline reconfirmed my old booking has cancelled. As consumer act service K5 Travel has taken my money which is nearly 1500 NZD and has denied service . As an Indian looting Indian money in aboard is such disgraceful act which demean whole Indian Business community in NZ. Accordingly to Arun there are 100 to 150 customer whose ticket money K5 Travel has been looted. I am also reaching to NZ consumer commerce to ban these kind of travel agent to loot further. Request to all other victims to come forward and at least lodge a complaint against them.
Negative experience: I paid for ticket in june, ticket cancelled by K5 without my knowledge. The day I needed to travel, tried to do online checkin & was told by airline my ticket number is not valid. Called Arun from K5, received careless answer and told the refund will take 8 weeks. I need to pay fresh ticket charges to issue new ticket, that's because they had change of ownership. So I can't travel today, neither I get my money back. Can't trust this company. You mentioned in your response that K5 never cancel. But that is not true, Airline has confirmed that my ticket was cancelled on 5th July that is the date new owner has taken over the business. Arun was very well aware that the ticket was cancelled by your distributor and didn't inform us. We got to know only by 21st of July, because we couldn't do online checkin. Our ticket was cancelled with out our knowledge and Arun mentioned we are not the only one, there are 100's of customers got affected by this change over and he can't refund immediately. And asked to pay again to buy new tickets. If I don't get the refund with in few days, I will go to media. Its been August 29th and I am still waiting for refund since 5th of July. 8 weeks over after the cancellation done by K5 . I guess the only option is it go to court to get my money back.
Negative experience: No star at all. Big fraud.. do NOT buy tickets from them. We have been scammed as well bought tickets worth of $ 4475, hard earned money..was issued with e ticket then they just cancelled the ticket. Arun the owner said that we will b refunded within 6 weeks. We had to buy new tickets from Flight centre at our own cost. We travelled and came back to New Zealand. Arun send us an email to say that he cannot refund and we need to deal with the old owner. Why should we? We bought the ticket from K5 travel not the owner who we never dealt with. it was an agent called Kamlesh that did all our booking and took payments etc. They are fooling people around and causing lots of steess and hassle. Don't get into their stories u'll regret it.
Negative experience: not even a star....I booked tickets for my parents with my friends, as they can not travel alone because of communication. Agent sent me Itinerary and after I paid, she booked wrong flights for my parents, I asked her for two weeks, can please send me confirmed ticket, she did not bother always said, will send it shortly but never received because she knew she has done mistake. Luckily I check on check my trip and found wrong tickets, Manager told me management can not afford to change the tickets to right time because it's expensive, and adviced me either go to court or tribaul, never book tickets from them tottaly rip off
Negative experience: not even a star.. I booked tickets from this agency, after booked tickets i called Them 6 times a day for some information about my connecting flight but they didn't answer phone. Use a reputable agent.
Negative experience: Be aware this company has stolen thousands of dollars from me through issuing fraud tickets. The operators are fraudsters and are involved in fraud cartels. Negative experience: Avoid using this company at all costs. Apart from poor service and booking incorrect flights. They are untrustworthy and have not paid the refund that was agreed for cancellations.
Negative experience: Not recommended. As I have cancelled my tickets in may and haven't received the refund back. Tried calling them and also contacted them through emails but have not got the response back. Still struggling to get my money back
Negative experience: Rip off paid for my tickets and never received anything stopped answering my calls and no reply. Complete fraud
