Positive experience: Would have been a 4+ star rating if Flight Centre could, on behalf of their customer(s), reconfirm activities and transport. It will make a world of difference if they could get in touch with the customer(s) a couple of days prior to their trip to ensure they are still on schedule and then get transport and activities reconfirmed with the international companies. We booked January 2024, travelled June 2024, we could not reconfirm our transport from airport to hotel as we were in transit. Had to pay for a taxi to take us to hotel because our transport were not at airport and hotel said that company were no longer used by any other hotels or travel agents because of their poor service, only flight centre still used them. We tried to reconfirm our activity, none of the phone numbers worked. We were also told that no transport needed at the 2nd leg of trip from airport to hotel because hotel is just opposite airport and if we need transport we can book and pay ourselves, which is indeed correct, however, the hotel had a free shuttle running from airport to hotel which we were not told about and walking took almost 20min because of wire fences preventing pedestrians crossing road, so it was a further distance to walk than what Google maps showed and we had to go around airport and past another hotel to get to our hotel and it was also raining upon our arival. I trusted Flight Centre fully, that the package they advertise and I accepted and paid for, would be on their radar until the date of our departure, so I have expected a better experience, under the impression they are 110% aware of services offered by hotels (shuttle, distance not per google but actual person walking it etc.) and would be up to date with reviews and in touch with the companies of any activities, transfers/transport that they include in their packages.

For the reconfirmation for transfers, etc - suppliers to generally require the customer to do to finalize any last minute changes / preferences from the customer, but again, we'll be sure to channel your experience & feedback.

Fantastic experience: Popped in here for some information and we were assisted by Mikayla who was absolutely amazing! Helped us find flights home even to different airports, via two stops, and saved us money on what we had found looking online previously. Negative experience: Terrible service for Dunedin. I rang over a week ago and spoke to a new person about matching or bettering a competitors deal. She told me to email them with the details and someone will get back to me. Despite 2 emails, no one has bothered. Very disappointing considering I have used them for years!

Negative experience: There is a huge sign in this shop saying they will match any prices you find elsewhere. We found a price (total) of $3800 online. For the exact same flights Flight Centre wanted to charge us $5100... when asked why the answer was "this is our price..." despite the "we will match any other price" sign on the wall. I was dumfounded and not surprisingly we booked online... saving $1300... how is this place in business still?

Negative experience: Your website says you are open on a Saturday. We have just driven from Oamaru and you are closed. How useless is that? You are "so busy" yet you cannot be bothered to even update your website.

Negative experience: Flight agent changed without letting me know. Ignoring my emails. Insurance number won’t work to make an URGENT claim. Neither policy numbers I was given work. Not answering the questions I asked. Taking leave in the middle of an email discussion without letting me know. Not letting me know I won’t be able to contact them because they’re taking leave. Not letting me know who to contact when they take leave. All it takes is a group email “Hi I’ll be out of the office from these dates X - Y, please contact [someone] at [email] if you need anything while I’m away” EDIT: sent an email to the supplied address months ago, still no reply. EDIT: 10 months on I Have sent 2 emails to the customer service email Jordan provided me and I still have not received a reply. I was directly lied to about how much I was entitled to for a refund. They tried to tell me it was almost $200 less than what it should have been. I had to go through all my emails, past recipes and talk to AirNZ to figure out the correct number. Once confronted with the evidence the agent finally refunded my money. Be very careful about how much you are spending here as if you need a refund they will try take money from the top.

Negative experience: Got ripped off with insurance paid extra for motor insurance when I had a problem with my vehicle I range the the number on the card thay told me I was not covered by them leaving me 1500km from my destination and $2500 out of pocket with no help at all (stay away)

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a flight to Bahrain through Flight Centre and I found Eli Devlin to be extremely helpful. I made a mistake about the name on the ticket and Eli waived all fees which would normally result from the confusion. I would highly recommend booking travel with him.

Negative experience: Massive sense of regret after having booked through this flight centre - level of service extremely low and I had to chase for everything, my airline requests were not passed on which caused me more stress than what it was all worth. Instead of paying for a hands off 'premium' experience with a travel agent I could have done all myself with less stress and less running around. Never again and I do not recommend - how unprofessional.

Positive experience: I had a bad experience with them. I was told my flight had been booked all I need to confirm and pay within 24 hours. I was offered with higher price for the same flight next day when I get back to them which was after 16 hours.

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to give some positive feedback following our experiences using Flight Centre in Dunedin. We had a messy/complicated itinerary which had to accommodate two very small children over a long trip to the UK, stopping for a few days each way in another country. We dealt with Eli and he was incredibly helpful, offered great suggestions and was quick to change and tweak things so as to make our travel easier and more comfortable. I don't think he could have done any more and I'm very glad I didn't attempt booking it all myself.
Fantastic experience: Great for planning your next holiday. I was treated like I was important. They listened and help me make my plans a reality. Everything worked perfect thanks to the staff that dedicated their time to make my overseas trip a happy and memorable time. I highly recommend.
