Fantastic experience: I was on a 23 day both island tour and I could not praise the two drivers Mark and Peter more highly they both really made my trip work as I was on my own but they made me feel as though I was with friends. Thank you guys for a great time.

Fantastic experience: The recent trip to see WOW in Wgtn was very well organised and the driver, Steve, was a safe, courteous and friendly tour driver. Our guide, Leane,was bubbly and helpful and informative. The bus was clean and very comfortable and having two exits made stops much easier to enter and exit. The itinerary was very good and small towns probably were grateful for our patronage. The weather was against us in the Wairarapa however so our stop in Greytown was disappointing as everyone would have enjoyed a longer stop had it been a fine day. The show was spectacular and our seats were excellent. The venue is so handy to the James Cook Hotel which is also handy to great shopping and cafes. I highly recommend Leisuretime Tours.

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak more highly of Leisure Tours. Tonight my 77 year old mum caught the bus from Hamilton to Auckland after the Te Huia train was cancelled due to a fire in Auckland. Traffic accidents also delayed them so much that instead of arriving at 4pm they ended up getting to Parnell after dark. The driver (sadly she never got his name....) was amazing!! He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure three female passengers got safely to their destinations and said he couldn't in all conscience leave them in the dark like that. The extra care is greatly appreciated!!

Positive experience: Great service and adventures. Comfortable buses with excellent drivers. Why it loses a star is that we leave at 7:30am but we travel around Hamilton picking up people who weren't at the depo. I think everyone should leave from the depo rather spend up to an hour waiting and travelling in Hamilton morning traffic.

On our extended tours we do run several vehicles to do local pick ups and bring passengers back to our depot to board the coach there, however, on day trips we are unable to offer this so instead offer to pick passengers up from a small range of preset locations, this service is greatly appreciated by those that would find it difficult to get to our depot. We hope you are able to continue to travel with us and look forward to seeing you again on another trip.

Positive experience: Have some good excursions and at a fair price. Based in Hamilton and a bit messy for Auckland clients to get there. Offer a pick up service at some cost.

Fantastic experience: Our tour guides, Trish and Clem, made our visit to New Zealand so much more than just a bus tour. Their warmth and humanity came across in the care they showed on each stop of our trip. Of course they were knowledgeable, but the facts of a place can easily be found online. Guides who make you feel as if you're not just another backside filling a bus seat are special. Little things ("We're stopping here just for a moment so you can check out this little ice cream shop and try some hokey pokey ice cream...") made a big difference. I'd definitely book with this company again based on our experience with Trish and Clem

Fantastic experience: Never used this company, but I've watched people try and turn around this bend in Chch City and 80% of driver completely fail to make the turn. I've always wondering to myself is it really that hard? Now I can confirm it isn't because I've just watched one of your driver's make the turn perfectly!!. Hats off to the driver, you give me hope when using the roads.
