Negative experience: Hi guys I booked my ticked last week to australia from lambton quay flight centre very useless service i come cross even i booked my ticket I had to wait airport for 4 hours and nearly missed my flight plus on top they were asking to pay more for seats that i already paid for my ticket I had these issues both sides guys I highly recommend don't book tickets from lambtom quay flight centre wellington

When assisting with bookings, our team presents the best available options based on the information and preferences provided by the customer at the time. Airlines may charge additional fees for seat selection, and these costs come directly from the airline.
Regarding airport wait times and boarding, airlines require passengers to arrive and check in within their specified timeframes, and customers are responsible for ensuring they are at the airport and gate in time for departure.
Fantastic experience: Yvonne Unka is by far the most efficient, friendly and co-operative travel agent I ever had. This written by someone who has travelled the world for over half a century. All kudos to her!

Negative experience: I will not use Flight Centre ever again, the experience was terrible, frustrating and expensive. If you book online, you cannot get any assistance from in-store, it may as well be a seperate company. There is no ability to Manage your booking from the website the button does nothing, you have to ring and wait on hold, many, many times. It took countless calls and a full 24hrs and an extra $150 to change flights due to an error caused by their website expiring the token and then changing whatever Airport you were flying from back to their default of Auckland. This is incredibly poor design and will cause expensive mistakes if you don't happen to live in Auckland. It doesn't matter if you paid extra for flexible fares, it doest matter if you paid extra for flight insurance, they will charge you extra. It's really more of a scam designed to extort money from you rather than help you in any way. Avoid.
Hi Richard, sorry to see you're not happy with your experience. When a customer decides to make their booking themselves online, they are choosing to act as their own travel agent and our online bookings do sit in a different system to our instore bookings, which is why our instore agents are not able to assist.
All change fees are advised prior to booking and require acknowledgement from each customer before any booking is confirmed or payment made. When a customer books online, on the final confirmation page they will have the final flight details displayed and are required to directly acknowledge that these are correct, along with traveller details and booking terms, The cost to change, is made up of change fees, along with the fare & tax difference for any new flight chosen, and is part of the advice provided on that final booking confirmation page. I hope this provides some further clarity.

Fantastic experience: I prefer to book my long haul flights to Europe via a travel agent, it is easier to search the best connections, secure good seats, find better fare options. It also gives me peace of mind to know they will assist with any problems that may arise. Gianfranco has helped me over the past 3 years with booking flights for our family. Great service, super efficient, always replies promptly to any query. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Gianfranco helped us organise our recent “football experiences” trip to Europe. He was super friendly and helpful, ensuring that we ended up with a great set of connecting flights and had accommodation that met our location and other requirements. Fantastic experience: Gianfranco has arranged several overseas trips for us, including flights, accomodation, rental cars and camper vans. He has always been honest - listening to our general requests for what we were after, made suggestions, let us know when our requests may not work comfortably for us. Some of our plans have been complex, but nothing has ever been a problem for Gianfranco. We’ve had great holidays knowing everything was reliably pre-booked. We’ve been kept updated when flights have changed, and always had prompt and helpful responses to any questions we’ve had before leaving home, and when away.

Fantastic experience: We contacted Flight Centre and were quickly put in touch with Gianfranco Belloli. We gave him our brief and our expectations of what we wanted for our first family holiday abroad. Well, he nailed it, our holiday could not have gone any better, we had the best time and our son will remember this trip for a long time to come, as will we. We were booked right in the heart of Sydney at Rydge's World Square, where everything was at our doorstep, Coles, multiple cafes and shops, and the trams and trains that took us to every location pretty much to the door step of where we wanted to be! Thank you GB, you did a great job of making our holiday a massive success. We will definitely be back to organize our next epic adventure with you and the team at Flight Centre!

Negative experience: Geld einkassieren geht schnell.Da ich aber Geld zurück bekomme darf ich Wochen/Monate/? Warten und hatte schon drei Mitarbeiter.Ihre Reisepartner glänzten vor Inkompetent. Aber wir sind halt nur Laufkundschaft und da kann man schon auf Zeit pokern!

Fantastic experience: We had Calypso book us a family holiday to Japan. Calypso has travelled extensively in Japan and this was a huge help! We have just returned from the trip she booked for us was absolutely wonderful!!! She really nailed the brief. Having her expert help really took the pressure off and she was very adaptable when we had to make a few changes. Highly reccomnend.

Negative experience: Flight canceled due to covid, they refuse to refund us, insisting on giving credit with the airlines (virgin australia) who haven't commenced operations in NZ (apart from Queenstown). Do the right thing flight centre, give us our money back, and you deal with the airlines, we had a deal with you not the airlines.

Unfortunately, as with any booking, the terms and conditions of the original ticket will apply, and these are set and enforced by the airline, not by Flight Centre.

Positive experience: The most recent experience was more pleasant, the person attending to me was friendly and helpful while being efficient. The fact that flying is horrendously expensive these days is not their fault, I guess :-)

Fantastic experience: I didn't travel first class, but service from Lendl Oosthuizen certainly was! It took a matter of minutes for Lendl to help be secure a flight from Wellington to South Africa departing 17 hours later! All it took was a quick phone call and explanation of the emergency and Lendl expressed her compassion by making this experience seemless. There's too little stars to rate Lendl's help, so 5/5 will do!

Fantastic experience: I went to flight centre at Lambton Quay, Wellington and Gianfranco Belloli (GB) attended me. I must admire GB is a Superstar He worked with me very patiently and customised all the services according to my needs. He even followed up for the pending confirmations both with the airlines as well as with me. I have never seen such an awesome person and such excellent customer service that he delivered Besides, he did not make any mistake in any service - he is really thorough with his work and an extremely committed person GB - Keep doing the great work Cheers Ripu

Negative experience: In the middle of our conversation the Lady picked up the phone and had me wait there. They refused to answer a question of mine until I booked something with them. The question concerned the visa for my travel destination. Then she wanted to pressure me into booking something with them. One Star is really a lot for this "service".

Negative experience: Never have I ever encountered such unprofessional incompetence. I’m actually dumbfounded. Staff have no ability to communicate notes to eachother. Multiple attempts to contact to pay!!!! No response. So I visited the branch. Only to be told I needed appointment…. Well if you don’t respond to phone or email??? How am I meant to make one??? Then the wrong accomodation was booked. Then! I’m booked for a single room when I specifically requested 2 rooms. This place is beyond a joke ridiculous. Save your sanity. Just google and book yourself.

Negative experience: You would hope travel agents post covid would be friendly and inviting. This place was not - staff were rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Please get your staff some interpersonal skills and treat all customers (of all cultures) with respect.

Negative experience: I wouldn't bother using an agent from this agency again. They were slow to give me my ticket, did not ask me about any of the food options which led to me awkwardly having to ask for them on the flight, and they further failed to tell me what documents I would need due to COVID.

Positive experience: A place you can find the holiday package. Just be aware that the promotions usually based on two adults and two children. So if only a couple the price will be a bit up.
