Fantastic experience: If I had six stars I would give 6. Lisa has been incredible. Her communication was seamless and she always went to extra mile to meet my needs. In fact she met more than my needs. My trip was smooth, the Delta App recommended was fabulous and it made me feel much more confident even down to knowing my Bag was booked all the way through on the way home as well as the Terminals to go to. Los Angeles is a very chaotic Airport so the extra assistance from the app was great. The food on the last flight was super too and I had special meals smoothly come up too. The team on one flight out of the four shone I could feel how they all loved their jobs and I was sure to thank them and let them know that I highly recommend House of Travel - Johnsonville and Lisa Glassey. The best experience I have had travelling. I know who I will be calling on for my next trip.

Negative experience: I paid for premium economy and flew a substantial part of the trip in cattle class. I paid for one flight for two persons at $340 each which was not used as the departure city was changed. I booked the flights in November 23 and told in March 24 the Chicago flight was cancelled. Then in April just days before departure I was told Air New Zealand didn't fly from Vancouver to Auckland on that day. I was asked did I want to change my flight dates. I had already booked 35 nights of accommodation, shows, and helicopter flights and I said no. I asked for a statement showing what I paid for and what I got. The request was refused. I booked a trip on a Dreamliner and got a nightmare. My emails took weeks to be answered.

When we found we could not extend our cat’s pre-booked stay in a cattery to cover the cruise’s earlier start date, Hannah booked a different cruise for us. Hannah also recommended and booked flights and pre-cruise accommodation while we were in the office with her.

Negative experience: Zero concern for the poor experience they sold us. No effort made to help during an insanely stressful incident, no follow up to ensure we managed to get sorted and get home. Emails ignored. Awful holiday sold as a luxury experience - 4 star rated was actually only 2 stars (being generous). When concerns were raised before departing, they were brushed off, turns out they were very valid. Would not recommend.
