Fantastic experience: Great service , amazingly friendly team. Recent trip to Nelson including flights, accomodation and hire car went very smoothly. Our travel consultant was Ishbel and she worked hard to tailor the travel details to our specific needs, including vehicle selection, accommodation location and flight link ups - outstanding thanks

Negative experience: This has been the worst booking experience I’ve ever had. I booked a ticket with a specific date and time, and the airline changed the flight time without any proper notice or consultation. Then they tried to put the blame on me as if it was my mistake! To make it worse, the price went up and I had to pay more. This is completely unacceptable and feels like pure exploitation. Such behavior damages your company’s reputation and destroys customer trust. I will never book with you again and I strongly advise others to think twice before dealing with this airline.”
Hi Yousif, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with us. We can appreciate how frustrating time changes are, especially when it affects your travel plans! For these changes, Flight Centre is bound by the airline’s conditions, so when a time change occurs, the airline will provide their "suitable alternative" and from there, any further customer changes to this are generally paid. Time changes affect all customers booked on the flights, regardless of if they book direct or with an agent.
Negative experience: Very negative experience with Claudia and the Newtown Flight centre, multiple errors including no pick up arranged for tour, flight details repeatedly sent to wrong email, insurance and visa information incorrect. Offered support from customer services who then never replied nor corrected errors.

Prior to confirming a booking, each customer is required to check their invoice, confirming their details, names and travel arrangements are all correct before any payment is taken or booking made. Negative experience: No stars. Cruise for disabled child booked wrong rooms, then told it was my fault. Not helped even when Disney cruise contacted them direct, leaving us onboard on day 1 with no room to go to, when child needed room for immediate medical cares. Requested manager to contact me, and no reply. Had to pay extra $500 American dollars to get correct rooms. During booking process, I questioned why $600 extra than Disney would charge, and told it was because if anything went wrong then flight centre could help. Only Disney helped, and said if I hadn’t booked with flight centre there would have been no extra charge if any issues. I require them to pay back the extra costs incurred, and no amount of money can compensate for the emotional distress caused, and everything we missed out on that first day. I hope some flight centre manager responds to this. I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE AGENT WHO BOOKED EVER, by email or phone. Flight Centre Newtown, you ruined Disney cruise for child with life limiting syndrome and charged $600nz extra to book and then cost another $American $500 to get correct rooms. Disgusting. Then blamed me your client, very narcissistic behaviour

Positive experience: Good service
Negative experience: Flight canceled due to covid, they refuse to refund us, insisting on giving credit with the airlines (virgin australia) who haven't commenced operations in NZ (apart from Queenstown). Do the right thing flight centre, give us our money back, and you deal with the airlines, we had a deal with you not the airlines.

As mentioned, unfortunately, as with any booking, the terms and conditions of the original ticket will apply, and these are set and enforced by the airline, not by Flight Centre.

Negative experience: Some stuff in the office don't give us the right word. They are not patient for us, because we speak second language specially in NEWTOWN

Positive experience: Have been using Flight Centre for many years now and will keep using them! However it’s a shame that their service is not as it once was - less personalised and while this is a bit nitpicky the ticket pouches used to be made from good quality plastic that could be reused but now it is flimsy and breaks easily. Still a great service though overall!
Negative experience: Disappointing costumer service. No communication. I felt like talking to myself. No further suggestions to my ideas. Very frustrating experience. I've found better deals on my own.
