Fantastic experience: We had a super experience at the Haurapa PurePod in Central Otago during the middle weekend of September. It was easy to find, well signposted and, although quite a climb to get there, well worth the effort. The pod is very well-appointed, like a comfortable hotel suite in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by spectacular views of the Cromwell-Bannockburn region. We were surrounded by an olive grove and had six alpacas as neighbours. We enjoyed the comfort and well-stocked provisions, all we had to bring was our backpacks and reading material, games etc. The place is off-grid but we found there was a good cellphone coverage. There was more than enough food provided for breakfasts and main meals, restocked during the day by the host. We had the option of using a BBQ, but found the gas hob more than sufficient for our needs. The coffee machine was also appreciated! A thoughtful touch was the provision of wet-weather gear, which was much appreciated during our walk down the hill on a wet Sunday morning. All in all, a memorable and enjoyable weekend. We found the booking experience with Helloworld Gore efficient and easy, especially with help from Paige and Aimee.

Fantastic experience: Aimee and the team are very friendly, approachable and professional. It was great knowing they were available to help when we were away if we needed it, however we didn't, as every part of the trip that they organised went very smoothly. We definitely recommend them.
