Fantastic experience: My wife and I were looking to travel to New Zealand. We were led to GUEST New Zealand from a friend, and more specifically, Michael Nees. We had a number of video chats with Michael to identify what we wanted to do when we were in NZ. Once we clarified that, Michael put together the “perfect” holiday for us. We just returned from an 18 night trip that covered the North Island (5 nights) and the South Island (13 nights). The trip was beyond our imagination. Such a beautiful country!!! Everything was planned to perfection, and the accommodations that Michael picked for us were absolutely top notch - all completely different, but a perfect mix. On the one occasion where we found that we could not get to our next location due to an avalanche/landslide closing the main highway, Michael was immediately on the phones and within a couple of hours he had secured us with a new place for the night, and it was beautiful. We never felt stressed about our schedule because Michael provided us with the perfect travel itinerary that removed any questions/doubt/worry about directions, drive times, reservations, etc. Day-by-day itinerary listing our accommodations and all the pertinent directions, contacts, phone #’s, driving instructions and recommendations for sites to see on our drive to our next stay. Everything was done to the “T”. This was a trip to remember, and it was all due to Michael’s expertise and planning. Thank you Michael, and if we do have the chance to visit NZ again, we will definitely be calling you.

Fantastic experience: This was the trip of a lifetime! A half a year later, we still talk about it with fun memories made with special friends. Fantastic experience: Michael planned and organized a fantastic 19 day trip for 6 adult siblings in the South Island. Fantastic experience: My wife and I have planned many trips before, with and without the help of an agent. Michael has truly been one of the best we had the pleasure to interact with. Fantastic experience: We first contacted Michael about two months before our trip. Despite a fairly short time frame, he was able to arrange all of our lodging, in-country flights, rental cars, and outdoor activities. Fantastic experience: Michael simply did an amazing job of planning, coordinating and executing our travel plans. We had originally lined up a 2-week group tour of the South Island, but knew we wanted to see more of NZ while we were there. The tour company recommended that we work with Michael and what a great recommendation it was. We told Michael we wanted to spend another 2+ weeks seeing the best of NZ that we wouldn’t see on our scheduled trip, told him what our interests were, and he went to work. He then provided us with a menu of ideas to comment on to help him better understand our interests and what it would take to make the two weeks quite memorable. We knew Michael was in the background quietly watching over us while on our adventure, and it became very evident when our final days were supposed to be in the Coromandel region, right where the Cyclone Gabrielle was due to hit in a few days. Before even discussing it with us, he was setting up alternate lodging for us further inland in the event the forecast came true. When it was clear the path was correctly forecast, we talked at length about our options and decided to head back to the South Island to catch one remaining area of NZ that we should not miss. He worked his magic to get us the last seats out the next morning and adequate lodging (none of which was easy given everyone was trying to get out of the cyclone’s path). The end result was we had three wonderful sunny days while the majority of both islands was getting wind and rain. It was a perfect way to end a marvelous month in NZ. There is no question in our minds that if we ever head back to NZ or Australia, Michael will be the first one we connect with to do the planning for us. Since we have been back home, we have told many others about what a wonderful trip Michael put together for us. Thank you, Michael, for a job so very well done.

Fantastic experience: We Just returned from a 22 day, trip of a lifetime. From our virtual meetings, Michael was able to arrange a self drive tour through New Zealand's North and South Islands, and an action packed tour of Australia. Fantastic experience: We spent 30 days on the South Island. Michael organized a diverse trip consisting of hiking, wineries, sheep ranches and the most gorgeous places to stay. Michael’s service level was over the top! We were in constant touch with him especially toward the end when we needed his guidance regarding leaving due to the Corina virus. If you plan to go to New Zealand I highly recommend Michael. He will guide you to the most beautiful places and you will stay in small intimate and very special boutique inns with the most personable and knowledgeable hosts. Fantastic experience: We had a extraordinary month long trip in New Zealand which far exceeded our already unrealistic expectations, thanks to Michael. Because of him, we managed to thread the needle between the storm of the century and COVID-19. We were once again reminded of the value of having a knowledgable agent. The service makes for a much better journey, and advice or help for any unexpected emergency is available whenever needed. We wish there were a Michale Nees in every place on earth we hope to visit in the future. Fantastic experience: My wife and I wanted to travel to New Zealand for our 26th anniversary to celebrate being empty nesters. I tried unsuccessfully to find tours on line that aligned with what we wanted to do. I came across Guest New Zealand website and after reading the reviews, contacted Michael to put together a 14 day itinerary based on what we wanted to do. What I received was spot on. After some minor tweaks the second version was what we went with and having just returned from our trip can say Michaels itinerary met all of our expectations. We had a great trip and stayed in some wonderful B&Bs. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. But we are determined to return again and, when we do, won’t hesitate to have Michael help us again.

Fantastic experience: I went to New Zealand with my husband and mother-in-law for 15 days over the Christmas and New Years holiday. It was the trip of a lifetime thanks to the Michael Ness. Michael was constantly available to us before our trip to answer all the questions we had. We worked with him to list a few things we wanted to do/were interested in, and he seamlessly created a 15 day trip throughout the 2 islands with airfare/transportation and accommodations included. We were able to see and do everything we had told him, and all the tours he recommended made our trip spectacular. The hotels we stayed at were ones he recommended and I can't image a better experience. I think what we were all most impressed by was how detail oriented Michael was. Every time we picked up our rental car, or checked in to a hotel or dinner reservation, everything was ready for us. He created a detailed itinerary and included all travel info/dates/confirmations we would need to reference. Michael's work allowed us to enjoy our vacation. We did not have to worry about looking up connecting flights or checking out which tour was rated the best - he took care of everything. Auch die Touren vor Ort, die er uns vorgeschlagen und für uns gebucht hat, waren wunderschön und werden uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir können jedem der eine Neuseeland Reise plant nur wärmstens empfehlen, die Reise über GINZ zu buchen. Dank seiner Kenntnis über das Land und den modernen Hilfsmitteln, wie eine Travel App, die er benutzt, konnten wir die komplette Planung in seine Hände legen. Michael und Pam, nochmals vielen, vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Reise und wir werden auf jede Fall wiederkommen und die Reise auch dann auf jeden Fall wieder über GINZ buchen. After Michael planned an unforgettable holiday for us 20 years ago and we fell in love with the land of the long white cloud, it was already clear to us then that we would come back and leave the planning to nobody else but Michael. Michael worked out a super tour for us with accommodations that, although they were away from the crowded main tourist destinations, were still centrally located and were simply gorgeous. Fantastic experience: Our third trip to NZ. Michael did a great job with our itinerary and the bed and breakfast were very good. The Night Sky Cottage was our hi light. Also had a great time watching the gannet at Kidnapper's cape. Michael was contactable and prompt with all our queries and helped us changed the gannet tour provider at the last minute when the first one was not available. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Michael we had the most amazing, smooth and well organized honeymoon we could think of in New Zealand! Michael was amazing, efficient and quick throughout the whole process and always reachable when we had questions! Could we have organized it ourselves? Probably yes, but it would have been stressful and time consuming which is what you don‘t want on your honeymoon :)! Fantastic experience: Michael planned a 3 week trip around Australia for us. I found Michael on the internet, so I was a little skeptical at first, but all the positive reviews were right! We spoke a few times on Skype and sent a few emails back and forth, but overall It was a very simple process. It was clear Michael knew Australia very well and was able to point us in the right direction. We had 6 different stops along the way and 6 different inter island flights, so the itinerary was very complex. Everything went perfectly. All the transfers/cars were waiting for us at every stop. All the prearranged tours were on time to pick us up from our hotels. The companies he chose for our transfers and tours were top notch professionals. I would not hesitate to recommend Michael to any of my friends that are thinking of travelling to Australia or New Zealand!

Sydney, Blue Mountains, Port Douglas/Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, and Melbourne all in 10 days and the way that Michael arranged tours and flights, it never felt like we were rushed or on the move too much. Just the right amount of planned activities and free time. We can't wait to plan a New Zealand trip and will definitely use Michael and GUEST.

Fantastic experience: We contacted and asked GUEST New Zealand to create an itinerary that would be suitable for a two-week trip for grandparents travelling with a 13-year old grandson, and Michael came through with flying colours. Every hotel/motel we stayed in was well located, very comfortable and had a kitchenette which made keeping drinks and breakfasts easy. The itimerary itself included activities that kept us very busy and were fun but still gave us time to either just enjoy the town/city or do other activities. We were on boats, jetboats and funyaks, zipling, on farms, on helicopters, on busses and on trains - a fabulous way to see the country, and on airplanes. We had no trouble filling in our free time with lugging, seqwaying and biking. There was not one detail that was omitted or went array. Kudos to Michael and QUEST New Zealand for making this such a memorable trip both for us and for our grandson.

Before the trip, I provided Michael with the areas that we wanted to visit, along with activities we wanted to do while we were in NZ. He was able to create the most perfect itinerary that we could ask for. Fantastic experience: Amazing experience Guest New Zealand, through Michael, put together a tour for me in order to visit both islands in 12 days. Quite a challenging trip as I wanted to see a maximum of things in this short period of time. Michael suggested to visit Auckland, Rotorura, Te Anau, Queenstown, Fox Glacier, Greymouth and Christchurch and he was right. These places give you a great vision of New Zealand with beautiful landscapes, a lot of intresting places to visit along the road, great opportunities to meet locals....exactly what I wanted. Michael really took the time to set it up right including transfers from one place to another, accommodations, visits.... Should I return to NZ, I would contact Michael again for sure. Fantastic experience: My husband and I have just returned from 28 days in Australia and New Zealand. We have traveled independently and as part of tours. For this trip we decided to try working with a travel company. I stumbled upon Guest New Zealand and was most impressed with the reviews where people mentioned if they had a problem, a phone to Michael fixed it right away. He put together a great itinerary that had us in 5 cities in Australia and driving both the North and South Islands of New Zealand. The B & B's were wonderful, the staffs attentive. The hotels were first class. And the tours were varied and fascinating, with enough time on our own for miles and miles of walking discovery. Every detail was covered. Michael always returned our calls promptly and always seemed to be smiling on the other end of the call. We would love to return and if and when we do, Michael will be planning our next trip. Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about the New Zealand Pure trip Michael Nees put together for my daughter and I. Each accommodation was supurb and the plans for our two week auto tour were outstanding. We really got to see so many varied spots in this beautiful country. Fantastic experience: My wife and I highly recommend Michael Nees. We previously used Michael’s services for a trip to New Zealand in 2012, and recently he helped us plan a trip to Australia and New Zealand. We shared cities/regions we wanted to see along with a few activities, and Michael skillfully recommended quality lodging, fun activities, and travel logistics. Travelling to that part of the world from the United States can seem a bit overwhelming planning wise. Michael helps take the stress out of the process however and on both trips we have been very happy with our lodging accommodations and his other suggestions. He also sets up vehicle rentals and can plan domestic flights. Working with Michael brings you the knowledge of a local. We knew we wanted to visit Far North Queensland for example, but he suggested a small town for us to stay in that ended up far nicer than the town we would have stayed in if we booked on our own, and it was a better jumping off point for visiting the barrier reef and rain forest. Work with Michael and you'll end up with a more enjoyable trip to Australia and/or New Zealand!

Fantastic experience: Trip of a lifetime! Myself, wife and boys age 7 & 9 traveled to New Zealand for 16 Days. Michael planned the perfect trip! I gave Michael the cities and activities I wanted to do and he planned the hotels, logistics, domestic air, all activities that required prior reservations, pick ups and car rentals. Fantastic experience: My husband and I used Guest New Zealand for our first Kiwi experience. Michael made our trip SO much better than it otherwise would have been had we tried to book everything ourselves. We had one issue with times of a ferry ticket and all we had to do was let Michael know and it was instantly fixed. They helped select the most quaint, homey, and perfect accommodations for us that really enhanced our experience by getting to interact with our hosts and learn more about Kiwi Culture. Fantastic experience: GUEST New Zealand did a fantastic job planning our second honeymoon trip. Their recommendations were spot on. All our accommodations were great, in good locations, with wonderful hosts. Our tours were all very worthwhile and full of interesting information about the local area. The driving was split up so that it wasn't too much on any one day. We loved getting to see a lot of the country. All in all, we had an absolutely wonderful time in a supremely beautiful country. We would definitely do it all again!!

Fantastic experience: We were so thrilled to find Guest NZ for our honeymoon! My partner and I booked our flights at the last-minute (about 6 weeks before departure) and after the exhaustion of planning a wedding, we did not have the time to plan a vacation to our exacting standards that would include all our desired stops, research (what was left of) accommodation and optimize travel times and few crowds. Michael was responsive, helpful and thorough from the start. As someone who regularly designs travel itineraries/event schedules as part of my job, I was impressed with his level of detail and his ability to match activities to our travel style (low-key, but active, flexible but wanting comforts. Lots of nature and wildlife!). Michael's itinerary for us was a stunning way to see New Zealand for the first time, and I just know we'll have to go back.

Fantastic experience: We are a family of 4 and just came back from our NZ - Australia holiday organized by Guest New Zealand, which was a fantastic experience. All services, transfers, itinerary and accomodation was spot on. We were given a great price and saw twice as much for a much more competitive price than trips offered by agencies based in the UK. Michael helped us with the itinerary from the begenning accomodating all our requests. During the tours we requested minor changes to fit in with the timings and the adjustments were made imediately, so we felt being properly looked after also during the trip. Positive experience: Very helpful until we questioned why their prices were so much higher (about double, in most cases) versus booking tours ourselves. After that, they dismissed our request for additional quotes and my husband was told to book things himself because "he obviously likes to have control over everything."

Fantastic experience: We went to New Zealand for a six week honeymoon and have a very particular way of traveling. We don't like tours, we don't like large group activities, we wanted some comfy bed and breakfasts everywhere we went. Michael styled a vacation to our EXACT specifications, and even better, challenged us to try a few things we were hesitant about doing. Each one of the things he pushed on us proved completely worth it and among our best memories now of our trip. There were tons of little questions that he handled for us and answered before we could even ask. I unreservedly recommend GUEST New Zealand as the absolute ideal way to go through New Zealand in the way you want to, even if you want to do it completely different then we did!

Fantastic experience: We like to travel on our own, no tourist groups, own itinerary and reservations. My English friend recommended to me Michael, when I asked him for some travel tips in NZ. It was an excellent advise. Michael discussed with me and my wife our priorities like small hotels, wine tasting stops, medium level hikes etc. and then designed an itinerary, that included the best B&Bs or small family hotels I have ever visited, but also car rentals and domestic flights. Michael was in touch with us even during our trip and helped with some additional bookings and changes due to weather. When we decided one year later to visit NZ again, Michael was the first person who got to know our decision. And he prepared different plan, as great as our first trip, just one island only. There is so much to see in NZ, that I hope I will return there again - sooner or later
