Fantastic experience: Had a private winery tour with a custom itinerary where I selected where I wanted to visit for site seeing then onto wineries for tastings in the area. Simon was my driver and was very knowledgeable on the region, wineries and wine (being french helps with the wine knowledge ). Simon made it a very enjoyable experience. We shared knowledge and laughs, he even got my terrible Australian humour. If you are looking to do a private winery tour I can certainly recommend Alpine Luxury Tours and hopefully you will get Simon as well.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I did the private Milford Sound tour with return helicopter trip and it absolutely amazing! Our guide Ben was so knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire 5 hour drive to Milford Sound from Queenstown talking about everything from the natural and human history to life as a Kiwi. We arrived to Milford Sound just in time to hop on our boat tour, which was on the nicest boat in the harbor where there was enough room for everyone to have a perfect view. After our boat tour we returned to take a helicopter with Heliworks over seemingly endless mountains and landed on a peak above Lake Wakatipu before returned to Queenstown where a taxi awaited to return us to our hotel. Lee, the owner of Alpine Luxury Tours, made it so easy to book this amazing tour and I was highly impressed with everything from booking through the website to being returned to our hotel.

Fantastic experience: Where's the 10 star button? These guys are amazing - the booking set up, communications, and then they deliver on the tour. We did a Milford tour - drive and Heli back. Our driver was Rob. The understatement of the century is that he was absolutely fantastic. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our day and will have NO hesitation booking with them for future tours. Special special thanks to Lee, Dani, and Rob - you were all amazing!

Fantastic experience: My family and I travelled to Queenstown in July this year and contacted Lee to arrange a helicopter adventure to Milford Sound with a glacier stop and picnic. By far Lee is the best tour coordinator that I have ever used in my travels. The company he booked the private tour with was fantastic. We were treated like royalty with a brand new helicopter and gourmet lunch including champagne and our wonderful pilot made the whole experience something we will never forget. During our stay Lee arranged two other small trips for us. His responses are almost immediate, the transport vehicles first class...even with our own recylable water bottles! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Alpine Luxury Tours to anyone travelling to the area. It is great to have someone you can rely on to make the special things happen.

Fantastic experience: We just came back from the Milford Sound tour and it was incredible! Andy was a supremely awesome, knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly guide. I think I learned more on this tour than any I’ve ever taken (he really deserves an award!). The whole trip was stunning — 1000% worth it. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Went on the Luxury day tour to Milford Sounds, got picked up in a nice Mercedes and driven down by Jamie who was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable.! Was an awesome tour as it was just me and my partner so no hustle and bustle of the tour buses and although there was a boat cruise we still went at a good pace that suited us perfectly.! Although we could’nt catch the plane ride back due to weather we still arrived back in good time for our other bookings in the night.! Highly recommended and all sorts of options if you’re looking for something luxurious.!

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible experience with Alpine Luxury Tours! Lee was wonderful, helpful and super experienced and helped us craft a beautiful 4hr custom helicopter tour, taking in so many incredible South Island sights. We saw glaciers and had a snow landing, saw areas where LOTR scenes were filmed, had beautiful stops at Lake Quill and Milford Sounds, and even got to see some of the mountain wildlife darting around beneath us! Our pilot, Eddie, was very experienced and a warm and knowledgeable guide, who positioned the chopper to ensure we could get great photos. It was a VERY smooth flight, and we felt very safe in the twin-engine helicopter. Our whole group is prone to nausea, but we never felt sick at any stage! We had an absolutely magical time, thanks to the fantastic team at Alpine Luxury Tours!!

Fantastic experience: Thankyou. Our group went to Glenorcky where we joined a jet boat tour up the Dart River. Lee is very informative, interesting, good company. A lovely picnic lunch was included which we had beside lake wakatipu. He detoured happily on request to view lake more. We highly recommend booking a tour with this company

Fantastic experience: Steve was absolutely incredible to start. Welcoming, communicative, knowledgable of not only the route but the country. Steve allowed Stephanie and I to have an incredible experience by getting to each sight seeing opportunity on the way while keeping us on time. Being a photographer should be Steve’s side hustle however the company has created an awesome opportunity for travelers to experience a dream. We appreciate it and of course; highly recommend finding a way to clone Steve (with the assumption of not knowing the capabilities of other tour guides). The boat ride was a fantastic edition and the plane ride back was truly the cherry on top.

Negative experience: We initially made the booking through Viator. This company Alpine Adventures has the worst communication. Beware. We booked a Milford-sound and Helicopter ride for today - $1460 per person. We arrived in Queenstown and text Lee that we've arrived with the Hotel details. It was strange to not receive a confirmation text back. I called Lee the day before and ask him what the arrangement is. No detail - I then ask will we received a call between 7am and 7:30am. He mentioned they (not saying who they are) will call at that time to confirm. we woke up at 6:30am awaiting a call - nothing. I called Lee - just got his answering machine. Then called their office again an answering machine Mark. Still no call. We then asked our Hotel concierge who had nothing to to with booking to follow-up. After a few calls we discover that day is actually done by Heliworks based in Queenstown. The helicopter trip normally leaves at 9am. with an apparent weather call 8am. We never received a call. This guy Lee is 100% hopeless in communicating - it would be best to not use this company and Viator and deal directly with the Helicopter Companies.

Lee's friendly, informative and laid back attitude means that you will get 100% more out of your experience doing it with them, than trying to organise it for yourself. We had the most amazing helicopter experience organised by the team at Alpine Adventures and it is a memory we will treasure forever. Fantastic experience: Best experience my partner and I have had in Queenstown. Lee and his team are so welcoming and fun to be around. Everything from the second you reach out to them is great! Such a smooth experience, almost as smooth as the land rovers and Mercedes they take you in!! Luxury comfort at such a great price point, nothing we have tried around Queenstown compares to Alpine adventures. Highly recommend!!
