Fantastic experience: Lauren was really professional and gave us so many tips and ideas for our upcoming trip in February. Will use Mairaingi Bay Flight Centre again for out travel adventures

Negative experience: Disappointing Service and Lack of Responsibility I had a very disappointing experience with Flight Centre. After booking international tickets through them, I encountered an issue with my children’s passports, which were discovered to have expired. Despite being a travel agency that should ensure all travel documentation is in order, no checks or guidance were provided regarding passport validity before issuing the tickets. When I requested to cancel the tickets, I was shocked to be informed that I would be charged both airline cancellation fees and additional fees by Flight Centre. This is unacceptable, as Flight Centre shares responsibility for this oversight. A competent travel agency should verify such critical details before processing bookings, especially for international travel. Their handling of my complaint lacked accountability or understanding of my circumstances, and I feel their approach prioritized profit over customer care. I expected far better service and support from an agency of this size and reputation. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

Fantastic experience: The amazing Liane Castañares was so accommodating and helpful. Doing bookings outside of her working hours is a 5 star service. Been dealing with her multiple times and she’s been so helpful ever since.

Her skills in finding the perfect flights combined with her patience and kindness as well as the best service overall...! 10 stars at least! My flight requests are not easy to fulfill (pretty much 'around the world and back' ;) plus layovers!), but you nailed it again. Best routing, best connections and the best price. Well done! Fantastic experience: Team leader Lauren Minshull is absolutely SUPERB. Imagine meeting a customer who is going 10 different countries in one month holiday, while having to check every single flight for best saving and flight time? Well Lauren did ALL that. YUP. As well as whipping up 10 flight tickets with best savings, Lauren answered all our travel-related questions so sweetly with professionalism (Trust me we had a LOT of questions lol) We also got Travel insurance done with Lauren so everything was neatly done under one payment with the flight ticket c: ! Thank you so much again Lauren you are AMAZING at what you do and thanks to you, our travel has become that much easier, fluid and exciting!!! You are a SUPERSTAR :D <333

Fantastic experience: We used Rachel Sullivan from Mairangi Bay for a family holiday we had in Jan 2020. We travelled to Hawaii, LA, Vegas, 3 cities in Italy & Singapore. Rachel was incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and went the extra mile for us. Nothing was ever a problem and no question was too silly to ask. Rachel booked flights, accommodation in LA, and trains throughout Italy and everything went smoothly while we were away. Very grateful for all her help throughout our months of planning beforehand too. Can’t recommend her highly enough.
