Fantastic experience: A friend and I recently took the Wendy Wu Vietnam and Cambodia Discovery Tour. It was excellent.The range of experiences was extensive, occasionally challenging , always fun. We learned so much about the culture, food and history of both countries. We felt we got to experience all there was to see and do in the 21 days ( travel included) We had an amazing guide in Vietnam - Hoang Quan known to us as Kim. We could not have asked for a kinder, funnier, more thorough, safety conscious, adaptable… guide. He worked hard to ensure everybody's various needs and interests were met. Chet, our guide in Cambodia too was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending Wendy Wu Southeast Asia tours.

Fantastic experience: Recently returned from the Vietnam tour Ho Chi Mhin to Hanoi. Everything was well organized and the tour went very smoothly. Our guide Thanh was amazing , his customer service and attention to detail was outstanding. He provided care for guests suffering from minor health issues giving them confidence to travel. The driver was an expert getting the bus in and around tight spots in the city and driving safely on the open road. His assistant kept the bus really clean, looked after our baggage, provided us with water and generally assisted where and when required. We called our guide T, at his request, the driver Coffee and his assistant Chocolate. T helped make this tour one of the best I have been on with the group sharing photos and experiences. The tour was very full on with every day busy. T even arranged extra optional tours where time allowed. The massage he organized for the tour group was great. He changed the tour as and when required to suit our needs but still included all listed tours. All hotels were of an acceptable standard. Breakfasts were all fantastic, lunches were generally good and dinners OK. Nothing was ineatable but did get a little bit monotonous. The occasional European menus were all well received. The only hotel that I would rate negatively would be The Shining Hotel in Hanoi. The restaurant is on the 10th floor and Bar is on the 11th. But the lift only goes to the 9th floor and the steps are steep with low hand rails and narrow step treads make it a bit of a hazardous journey for some of the older guests(we had a couple of 80+ guests as well as others in their 70s). Vietnam was always a place I wanted to go and I am pleased I went with Wendy Wu.

Fantastic experience: Wendy Wu tours are a fabulous and safe way to travel the world. Flights and accommodation covered. Breakfast is usually at the accommodation and some lunch and dinners are in the itinerary, this gives you a chance to explore and experience the culture of these wonderful countries and make new friendships.

Fantastic experience: I did the Indochina 28 day tour in November. We spent 2 weeks in Vietnam, a week in Laos and a week in Cambodia. It is the 17th organised tour I have done, and it was the best one. The 3 guides that we had were brilliant. The scenery was spectacular, the people were lovely and the food amazing. I would thoroughly recommend Wendy Wu Tours ☺️

Fantastic experience: Have recently done the Hidden Treasures of New Zealand, touring both North & South Islands. Amazing trip tour guide Lisa was excellent. It was clearly evident Lisa wanted to ensure everyone had an amazing & memorable experience. And nothing was too much trouble. Loved the information & amusing stories the drivers shared with us. I loved almost all the places we visited with only one exception; absolutely not WW fault it was just it wasn't my thing. Lisa went above and beyond at times to ensure we all had a memorable trip. Accommodation was lovely and food amazing and varied. Be prepared to eat your way around New Zealand

Fantastic experience: Great tour schedule and excellent guides

Negative experience: Very disapointed with the Auckland office. While experiencing a very disappointing low level trip to Vietnam we contacted the Wendy Wu office in Auckland and were told we would have a meeting on our return, this did not eventuate, we emailed them on more than one occasion to be ignored. A final email outlining the problems but still no response. Having experienced a very successful trip to China with Wendy Wu, we are bitterly disappointed in their disinterest on our experiences in Vietnam this year. We find under the circumstances it is not possible to recommend them. Mr & Mrs R L & P J Downes

Fantastic experience: Barry & Helen returned from a 3 week tour of China on Saturday 22nd September. We had a wonderful experience in China helped by an exceptional guide called David He.
