Fantastic experience: Amazing service from these guys. We had to rearrange a lot of activities because of the weather and the Milford Road disruptions, but they dealt with everything so professionally and smoothly!

Fantastic experience: My friend and I booked skydiving, bungee jumping and and a jet boat trip here and will definetly book our future excursions here. Juan was extremely helpful, gave us great recommendations and every thing he reccomended was amazing. He and Laura were both very accommodating, great staff.

Negative experience: I was advised that we could get a "full" refund after out Milford sound tour was cancelled, however we did not. I have been trying to get in touch with somebody, however can't seem to call internationally and no one has responded to my email. The staff was friendly while we were there, but have been difficult to contact at this point. Not sure why 20% is kept when we are unable to go on the tour and it doesn't seem the company had to cover costs to book. I would like to talk to someone regarding this...

Fantastic experience: Tilda was incredibly helpful when booking my trip across New Zealand and Fiji. She really put in a lot of time and effort to help me plan things at pretty short notice. She was very friendly and knowledgeable (as all the staff were) and generally went above and beyond what would be expected!

Fantastic experience: Tilda in Freedom Travel Queenstown was extremely helpful, patient and friendly. She spent hours putting our itinerary together. She organised our activities, transport and accommodation. Tilda was very patient with us as we changed our minds about some of our plans accommodating our needs every step of the way. Also Tilda made sure that we got the best price on our Jet Boat activity and booked it for us. I would highly recommend going to freedom travel to book activities, accommodation and transport.

Fantastic experience: Could not have met a more perfect person to book my travels with my dad. Tilda from travel freedom was absolutely amazing. She listened to everything we heard about and wanted to do. Also planned out our whole entire trip, dates, timings in New Zealand, Australia, and south east Asia. Even now , 2 months in we have stayed in communication as We have still needed help from time to time and she does it effortlessly with no confusions. She has a way with people, easy to trust. Really recommend.

Fantastic experience: After landing in Queenstown with only an idea of what I wanted to do, I decided to hop about and see what there was to do. After being to a few places, I was quite sure if i should book anything. I'm American i dont like being sold to. But then i came across Travel Freedom. Had an instant connection with Juan as we bonded over our Oz experiences and got to know me as a person before suggesting things. Told him about my skydives and bungy in Cairns. He then informed me about nevis bungy in Queenstown and skydive in Taupo since I was heading to the North Island. He made everything so easy and helped me map out my whole trip. Any snag I had, along the way or questions, he answered right awa . Thank you Juan for making my New Zealand trip absolutely amazing.

Fantastic experience: After I ended up at Travel Freedom Queenstown (TFQ) quite by chance, I received extensive and excellent advice from Svea, so I booked 3 activities there - 2 of them in Queenstown (LOTR, beer/wine tasting) and 1 in Australia (Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail - tour). Thanks to Svea, I had 3 great and unforgettable days, thank you so much for that. I would book through TFQ again anytime.

Fantastic experience: What a champ Conor is. Not only did he assist us with all our booking requirements he also played an awesome part in a family plan. From the minute we walked into the shop, Conor was ensuring all our questions were answered and needs were met. You are a credit to the company Conor, and I don't think you'll ever forget the time the river froze over, and neither will we.

Negative experience: Beware of the dodgy refund policy. We had a tour cancelled and they kept a chunk of our money. Would not book through them again, too risky as they keep your money, don't pay the tour operator, and then don't provide a full refund when tours are cancelled. Extra star for knowledgeable staff.

Positive experience: We booked an activity on jet boat, which one of the staff member suggested and it was totally worth it !

Fantastic experience: I rarely ever leave reviews, but had such a wonderful experience with travel freedom in Queenstown I wanted to thank Georgia and the rest of the staff for being so helpful in planning my time there. Not only were the recommendations great for guided tours/activities but they also offered me tips around town. Finally, when I went to pick up my rental car they reserved for me, I heard two customers ahead of me told that because they reserved through a third party they had third party insurance and needed to freeze $2000 on their credit card/bank account in case of an accident. Turns out I was the only customer who booked through a third party that actually received the insurance direct through rental company. Thanks to travel freedom!

Positive experience: Awesome! The staff provided a detailed explanation of the itinerary and even helped to plan it out.

Negative experience: Not happy with the recommendations... We were asking for heli-hike and onsen hot pools and we got recommended the helicopter line (which was nice and is very similar to franz josef glacier guides) but it costs 445$ person with no hot pools against franz josef glacier guides which costs only 14 bucks more and include hot pools (which are 28$ only entrance), also we were said that the helicopter will fly a bit more... But it was a total of 5 minutes flight

Fantastic experience: Matt at Travel Freedom made me the most amazing plan for my Australia and Fiji trip. He had a great deal of knowledge on all the locations and managed to save me a lot of money. The skydive I booked was cancelled due to weather but he managed to re-arrange it hassle free. Thanks Matt

Negative experience: Only 90% refunded if the booked activities are cancelled due to weather while you're told 100% refunded while booking. You'll need to claim the 10% from your travel insurance if you have it covered. It's not 100% refunded at all. Be careful while booking or you'll feel like being cheated. Think twice!!!
