Fantastic experience: Tony recently looked after us at short notice for a fantastic trip to Thailand Booked us in to M Social which was supberb and perfect location. Appreciated the hoops you jumped through to get us there in an organised fashion :)
Fantastic experience: I have worked with Tony, Dee and the team for my last couple of international travel plans. I highly recommend their service and expertise. I had a wonderful experience and accomodation was on point. The team will go out of their way to ensure your trip is customised to your liking. 5 Stars from me!
Negative experience: I do not know what is up with Travel agents, that you have to make an appointment first, did not go in due to notice on the door, so no idea of service. Another agent that doesn't want my business.
Hi Darryl, Thanks for taking time to make your thoughts known. It’s a bit of a shame you felt the need to voice this publicly rather than just pop your head in and check to see if we are available. In this post-covid world we are forced to operate very differently. As you may know there are a lot of agents that did not survive the harrowing last few years of Covid which make us, the ones that stayed on to service our clients, even busier and in demand. This has lead to us needing to prioritise our clients that can make appointments so we can allocate time and give 100% attention to their travel needs, just like any other professional you would book in to see. This is certainly not to dissuade you from seeing us but allows us and our clients added attention without having people wait sometimes over an hour to see us. I did actually see you read our notice and you would have witnessed that both our consultants were with clients at the time. If you had of read the full notice on our door it does state the following: “Please pop in to make a suitable time to discuss your travel” . I can assure you that, if you had just popped in to see us you would have received a genuine welcome and fantastic personalised service, without the need for any negative feedback on your part! We certainly wish you well with your travel plans and appreciate that you were trying to use the services of a local travel agent. Our Orewa travel agencies are some of the very best in the country!
Fantastic experience: We had decided to do a trip to Tasmania by ourselves, until we came across a 10 day Tour Tasmania through Helloworld Travel Orewa. Easily booked, an excellent Tour with an outstanding guide/ bus driver. There were 17 Kiwis and 4 Aussies on the Tour. Great value for money and would highly recommend this Tour, as it took away any stress trying do do it, and organizing it yourselves. Thanks Orewa Helloworld Travel for all you did. Murray & Julie
Fantastic experience: We booked our family trip to Fiji in October with travel agent Jill Ryan - she was amazing!! Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to postpone and change our trip to November. Jill was so accommodating and changed everything for us motel, car hire, booked activities no questions asked/no hassle. When we finally went on our family vacation everything went smoothly, recommendations made by Jill were perfect, we would definitely book with Helloworld Travel Orewa again 10/10.
