Fantastic experience: Chrissy at Touch of Spice did a fabulous job of organizing a 3 week trip to New Zealand for our family of 3. The attention to details was superb which made the whole trip seamless. We were given a varied itinerary to meet our needs and the accommodation was impeccable. If you are looking for a hassle free holiday in New Zealand you wont go wrong with Touch of Spice.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Touch of Spice... they truly helped make our two weeks in New Zealand a trip of a lifetime. The home we rented was epic in every way and the excursions and several van transfers exceeded expectations and were seamless!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with TOS recently. Paivi from TOS curated and planned a trip for us in Hawkes Bay (Craggy Range) and at Lake Hayes. She also sent us a bunch other gorgeous options, but these suited us best. We are NZ veterans and we know what high quality luxury in NZ looks like, but even so, we were impressed by the properties TOS found us. So, if you're looking for a seamless and hassle free holiday in the North or South Island, look no further than Touch of Spice. I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: We booked our accommodation with Natalia this September and spent 12 days in Queenstown. She did such a great recommendation and the price was very reasonable as for the amazing view over the mountains and lakes. I will definitely ask for their help when I visit New Zealand again in the future!

Fantastic experience: When my husband and I decided to go to New Zealand with another couple, I contacted three travel agencies. I contacted these agencies late for planning purposes and was turned down by two because in their words, "We cannot plan a trip for you in just three months and it is near Christmas". Touch of Spice jumped right on it within twelve hours I received a phone call from Chrissy Sun of Touch of Spice. My husband and I consider it just plain luck that we were able to work with Touch of Spice. I sent them my ideas, they gave me theirs and voila! A fabulous trip was planned. I had never worked with a travel agent. My husband and and I travel a lot but we generally go to Europe and we make our own plans. I only wish I could clone Chrissy to work on all our future trips. Chrissy thought ahead, making hard-to-get reservations or holding spots in highly desired luxury lodges while we planned. She ascertained what kinds of experiences we wanted and built those in the planning. Chrissy was so easy to work with and kept my husband and me as well as the couple traveling with me totally informed. She was available to us and in touch with us when we were in New Zealand as well, ready to ease any trouble spots but there were none. The whole process which I had dreaded was such a smooth, perfectly coordinated, perfectly executed experience that I can only congratulate anyone who is able to work with this group. Touch of Spice is a real find.

Negative experience: They took a deposit before the trip and never returned it - it was for a helicopter that could'nt fly in bad weather but apparently no refunds. That's not what the deposit was for - it was to protect property and should have been returned - service levels were fine.

Fantastic experience: Stayed in the Queenstown property with some friends for a wedding. Beautiful view, place was well presented we had everything we needed. Was able to organise a late check out with no problems. Would use these guys again.

Fantastic experience: My family and I stayed at the beautiful “Kumanu” property managed by a Touch of Spice. From the beginning to the end of our stay we have had nothing but an amazing experience. The staff were informative, professional and very helpful before we even arrived at the property, whilst we were at the property the team followed up a number of times to see if we needed anything and when we did they were very quick to respond. The house was immaculate and will forever hold a special spot in our hearts. I will definitely be staying in a touch of spice accomodation again given this experience. Thanks team for making our last 3 days amazing!! Xx

Fantastic experience: We stayed at their property near Queenstown township. Gorgeous property with an amazing view. The services provided by the property manager was also fantastic. I would definitely be recommending Touch of Spice to all my family and friends.

Negative experience: We booked a family vacation to visit Australia and both islands in New Zealand in January. Four months before the trip, we had to cancel because three of the four children couldn’t make the trip. Two companies gladly refunded our deposit for luxury house rentals, but Touch of Spice refused unless they te-tentbthe house. I would not rent with them unless your trip is written in stone and you’re comfortable working with owners who are unforgiving.

Fantastic experience: We (family of 4 inc 12 and 9yr old) were looking for something other than a hotel for this stay in the snow whilst staying in Queenstown, we were looking for an easy walk into town and modern apartment. After speaking to Jill via email and running though options and prices we booked an apartment (21 Lakefront) which was super clean, very modern with all the appliances and nice and warm which was perfect for our stay. We only had a 5 min walk into town which was ideal and great views from the apartment. Emily met us on arrival and ran through the unit and what we wanted to know and waiting for us was some basic essentials which was a really nice touch. We also booked Spa treatments and Heliboarding though Jill as it was super easy and the same cost if we booked directly with the companies which was handy. Again - thanks to every one at touch of spice for your help and he great apartment.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at 15 Richards Lane and thought the property was a beautiful way to appreciate Queenstown. The views from all the rooms- living, and bedrooms were amazing. The house was luxurious and we enjoyed being in Fernhill for a more residential experience and enjoyment of all the architecture around. With a few friends it is a lovely base- and we had a night-in enjoying a dinner around the table after a big day out!! A car is essential for this location and it is quite steep so not for the faint hearted in the winter. Thankyou for providing a few goodies in the pantry- a nice gesture and we duly left some additions as well. A few light bulbs blown but only a tiny issue.

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Pioneer Court property in Queenstown. Fantastic views, beautifully appointed home!! We were very comfortable for our five nights and cooked multiple breakfasts and dinners. The Touch of Spice concierge kept in contact throughout our stay, which I appreciated. I would use this service again and highly recommend it.

Negative experience: Things were broken in the apartment, unit was filthy, when we reported the issue to the property manager, no one care to fix the issue. Terrible communication and no customer service was provided during our stay.
