Negative experience: The worst company who doesn't care about QT community at all. They priced out the locals and always come full from the Hilton. They won't turn around even for 10 people and just leave them "stranded" at the dock after 20 minutes of waiting for delayed watertaxi. I got used to love this company now I'm just disappointed every single time I'm trying to use them

Negative experience: Waited all night to catch the 8.20 water taxi from Frankton marina , was waiting on wharf as boat was approaching, it shined its very bright light directly on me several times as I tried to wave it over . It never came close to wharf and left without me , maybe not a good idea to get in a boat with a skipper that’s just lazy or can’t see that great

Fantastic experience: Very convenient water taxi if you're heading towards Bay View from Queenstown. Just remember to top up your Bee card. We paid $10 one way. Don't forget to check the schedule. They can stop at the Golf club if you ask.

Negative experience: Very gutted as per your timetable we went to catch the 9:20pm water taxi from Bayview waited for some time and never turned up!

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed the water taxi as a tourist boat ride $5 for bee card/ $7 for a credit cards for one way. Paid $14 for return about 50 minutes ride was much cheaper than other boats. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Great service but we had a really grumpy skipper today who was very scarcastic to people and didnt bother doing the saftey announcments. only on the way into queenstown. Our skipper on the return journey was much more friendly and did everything great

Negative experience: One star to the arrogant Queenstown ferries driver leaving the marina at frankton at 2 pm today , honked his horn at me 3 times then said a smart comment because he wanted to leave in reverse while i was docking on my jetski , yes i know the rules been on the lake 30 years, disappointing arrogant attitude which a shame and learn the water relies better guys , 1 star rating

Positive experience: The water taxi in Queenstown is very convenient! You can also enjoy a rush on the lake with a speedboat~ The water route from Hilton to downtown takes only 20 minutes and costs just 5 NZD~ It's really a great deal, haha!

Fantastic experience: Both drivers that took us to and from the Hilton, to the main dock at Queenstown were great. The driver this evening was intuitive, even redocking when he saw we arrived at the platform after the boat had started to depart. Nice guy to chat with and gave exceptional customer service.

Negative experience: The water taxi driver was angry and rude. Nothing but snarky comments at the public.

Negative experience: Dont rely on this service. My husband and i have been staying at the Hilton for the past two nights and every time we have gone to get this service we have been messed around. It doesn't go every hour like it advertises. It goes almost every two hours and then if you rely on that and it's full you cant get on and get stuck for another two hours, has completely messed up our day two days in a row. Would not recommend

Fantastic experience: This is the best bargain in Queenstown - for just $9 you get a fast ferry ride out of Queenstown, around the point, then down the far end of the Frankton Arm to the Hilton. It's effectively subsidised public transport, but it's a great way to enjoy a cruise on the lake, and then a lovely walk back, for an absolute bargain. The trip leaves from just in front of the embarkation point for the steamer, is fast, fun and has great views of the town and then down the arm. Stop at the Hilton for lunch and get the next ferry back, or, do as we did and walk back - it's flat, has some lovely views, and the Boatshed Cafe at Frankton Marina makes a great half way stop for lunch. You can just turn up, but as numbers are limited, best to book, as they have no capacity to run extra services. And note, this is now a sperate service to Queenstown Water Taxis, which will do the same run for $50, but does have the advantage of being flexible with times and numbers, as it is a taxi, rather than ferry service.

Fantastic experience: Just the loveliest staff and drivers you could hope to meet. Awesome people and very helpful service if you're staying at the Hilton. The ride out is both quick and incredibly scenic.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely awesome! We we're staying in Kelvin heights and the ease of getting the ferry from Bayview was fantastic! I had a baby in a buggy and the guy was soo polite, kind and helpful! Next time I'll have baby in a backpack as a buggy was a bit of a nuisance! Phenomenal service! Great price, especially for a tourist town!

Positive experience: The water taxi was great because it was a lot quicker than driving to Queenstown from the Hilton where we were staying. However, it was $10 each one way which was a little pricey if you wanted to go to town every day. It was beautiful scenery during the ride which made it worth it.

Fantastic experience: We charted the water taxi to take us over to Mt Nic station for a hens do , it was absolutely perfect, we got to go over in our own time have a champagne on the way. It was a great service would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Took the water taxi over to Stacks Pub for lunch last week and found the service to be quick, warm, and dry. The frequent schedule meant that there was a taxi ready to take us back to Queenstown within 10 minutes of us finishing lunch. Would highly recommend especially as the roads get busier!
