Tokoroa Travel

Negative experience: This being the first time using a travel agent. I was unsure how it worked. First email seemed reassuring, but was continually following up about dates of payments and what not. There were times where we were given extensions, but we were not given enough time for payment dates. Some only 2 weeks. Accommodation and Rental cars were meant to be booked as well but only rental car quotes were given and accommodation was only discussed. We did get our tickets, but I had to also follow-up about dates of when tickets would be issued. On my side there was a delay in sending passport photos. I appreciate how Jeremy went out of his way to accomodate us for payments and requesting those extensions. We understood that he was welcoming the arrival of his new baby, but were not notified about this until after, which meant there were more delays. Our check in was not smooth sailing on both sides. Flight attendants were not sure if we were a group or not. We were split up on the way back, which was very disheartening. my experience was not really smooth sailing as someone who is fresh to this. There were lots of hiccups and I will not be using Tokoroa Travel in the future. All the best x
