Negative experience: Honestly had some shocking service by the flight centre staff regarding the trip we are planning and have already paid a deposit. My partner messaged regarding how to pay for the rest and she never got replied to but then they eventually emailing me an abrupt message about how to pay which I have since been told was wrong when I went in store. They placed my gender wrong on the booking which was said it would be corrected last week but still hasn't which is needed. All this and others caused us to request to be moved to another store which we were advised they can't do. They offered to change the staff dealing with us and get the manager to speak to us regarding this. This was about a month or two ago. Have had no follow up and they didn't change the staff dealing with us. We were advised that they would contact us once flights were out, which they are and have had no contact.

Fantastic experience: Massive thanks to Kaylene (& Jess)! Had a day where everything went completely sideways start to finish, not helped by AirNZ making a mess of customer care. Despite all that, with advice of Jess and help of Kaylene, they both stepped in to get things sorted as needs changed throughout the day. The single best email you can get in these situations is what I got from Kaylene - “that’s ok, will sort”. 11/10 for service when it matters!

Negative experience: Extremely poor response to emergencies. Our flight back to Auckland was cancelled due to the flooding, yet there was no initiatives from the agent or team to contact us for updates or a reschedule. We had to phone the airline ourselves (4 times via international roaming!) to try to reschedule. We had to book additional night(s) at the hotel ourselves as well. When we emailed our agent, she merely advised us to contact the Emergency phone number which we never got through because the wait was for more than 1 hour. It's such a stressful experience as we needed to be back for work and other critical responsibilities. What's the point of having a travel agent when you have to do everything yourself? Ps: On average, we travel 2-4 times a year. When China Airlines staff went on strike a few years ago, my agent in Taiwan proactively rescheduled for me - I didn't have to stress about anything. Now that's top-notch service! Come on Flight Centre, pull up your socks!

By the time I got through to a person, my flights price had increased by $90 ... please pick up your game Flight Centre. Fantastic experience: Been to flight centre albany a few times over the years. I recently went in to flight centre and saw one of the ladies who wasn’t as helpful and didn’t seem that interested in helping, I went back a second time and dealt with Hilary who was super helpful and lovely, great communication, was very happy with the service I received! Negative experience: I went to look at booking a trip to Rarotonga today. The customer services girl basically just handed a South Pacific book to me. When I asked if it included Rarotonga she said "Its in the middle". I asked for further information so we proceeded to do a quote. It is a trip for myself and my partner. I gave her my full details but did not see the need to divulge my partners full details at this point in time. So she refused to do the quote. I found her uninterested, unhelpful and rude. I will take my business somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Had a really positive experience with Albany Flight Centre booking a family holiday to Hawaii. We were looked after by Lewis and Alex, who were both fantastic. We managed to get a much better deal than we could have got from Expedia which really surprised me. The after sales service has also been excellent, queries and requests have been dealt with promptly. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Amazing customer service
Negative experience: Very bad experience. A healthy lady sitting in the middle of the FlightCentre office in Westfield Albany Mall branch (who told me she works only part time there) made me feel like as if they don't care about customers. Didn't show much interest in working out some options of travel for me. Felt as if she wanted me to just leave as soon as possible. Rude body language and behavior. Had a great experience last year at the Browns Bay branch though, but Albany branch was utter disappointment. Will never go there again.

Your knowledge of Fiji was outstanding and you took all the hassle out of what was becoming a stressful situation. I would highly recommend talking to these guys before booking your next holiday!
Negative experience: Very poor staff service! I went there last week. A lady who sit at the second counter (which closed the door) service me. I asked her do a quotation for the holiday package. I sit there around 15 minutes to wait for her do the research. During the 15 mins, she ignore me and did nothing except talking with another lady. After 10mins, she told me her system is too slow, she cannot give me the quotation right now,and ask me to leave my details to her, she will contact me later when she get the quotation. But i never get her information until now. She just waste my time. I wondering why flight center hire this kind of staff. I will never go back there! I went to Takapuna branch today. The staff service is excellent! I recommend people go to takapuna branch rather than Albany.
