Fantastic experience: I was feeling very stressed about booking flights for my first solo trip overseas and that stress was completely wiped away when I was served by Kurt at Flight Centre- Botany branch. I was welcomed well by the entire team as soon as I walked in which was a great start to the experience. I told him my dates and the locations I was visiting and he promptly began searching for flights. He gave me a good breakdown of different flights and pricing and listened well to my needs along the way without trying to sell me the most 'expensive' flights- which other flight agents tried to do in my other travel agency experiences. I even changed my flight plans as we were looking at flights and he quickly adapted and found the best price/flights for me. He made the entire process easy, seamless, and informative which I immensely appreciated. I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family and will visit him again for future flight booking plans!

Negative experience: We booked some flights through Flightcentre NZ online but were notified a few weeks later that our booking had been changed by the airline to a flight that was unsuitable for us. When we rang the online customer support they were very unhelpful when we asked what other options were available and were put on hold for 10+ minutes at a time over multiple phone calls. Finally we found an option that was possible for us and the airline and Flightcentre and so confirmed that was what we wanted. Flightcentre online help proceeded to email saying it was all locked in but to check on the Flightcentre website for our final booking details. When we did that it still shows the original flight details, not even the change that was notified by the airline, let alone our final decision. When we tried calling back they didn't understand. We also tried contacting the NZ branch office but they were also totally unhelpful saying it wasn't their department so they couldn't help us. Overall very poor performance from Flightcentre and in future I will not be booking with them and am in the process of trying to cancel the flights altogether and start from scratch.

Unfortunately when a time change occurs the airline does typically only offer 1 options, so when checking for alternatives, there are parameters the team need to stay within, in order to avoid further charges for changing above what they've offered, so we apologize if you feel this wasn't processed in a timely manner on the phone, but I hope this clarifies for you. Online bookings are separate to in-store bookings, so for assistance with these you will be speaking to the online team, as the store consultants do not have access to these online bookings. Fantastic experience: I’ve just had the best experience with Sujith. He helped me book flights for my mum and I and my toddler to fly to Ireland in a few months time. He really listened to what we were wanting in terms of times and dates, got us such a fantastic deal, communicated so well throughout and everything was done so quickly and efficiently. He even went direct to the airline to ask questions I had about travelling with my toddler which is a very scary prospect. Cannot fault the service at all I would 100% get Sujith to help us with our next trip, thank you so much!!!

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with ALLY - agent at Botany flight centre (at Botany town centre). She was not friendly when I came. I tried to ignore her attitute and still book a ticket through this agent. It costed me almost $3000, not a small amount. I hope that their service would be good and secured. But after that, it was very hard to contact her. When I need my ticket infor update, i emailed her, texted her and waited for many days but she has not responded eventhough my case was urgent ( I was overseas and cannot call her). I contacted another staff and they said she is still working as usual. I believe she read all of my emails and texts but she still ignored me. This is very unprofessional and i feel i wasted my money to book my ticcket through this agent. I never come back here again. NO RECOMMENDED.

Negative experience: I popped in Botany Town branch of Flight Center around 12pm today after browsing some flights to Melbourne using Flight Center Website with a couple of questions to ask/confirm from their staff. I explained my traveling to a staff, then she who looked in late thirties to early forties said if I made my booking through her I had to pay $75 and I asked her quite simple basic questions like Covid restrictions, etc. before booking and she said she couldn't answer until I booked in through her. To hear that I stepped out of the office with the ridiculousness. I was totally disgusted with her attitude. I thought she was blemishing the reputation of the Flight Center. This is my worst experience since I've dealt with the Flight Center.

Negative experience: Terrible experience! If there is an option for 0 stars then I would choose that. I visited the branch in person thinking that by going through Flight Centre it will make the booking process easy and stress free…..was I wrong. I booked our tickets months in advance as we are a family of four travelling with two little ones, our first overseas trip post COVID and this experience has been nothing but headaches, anxiety and frustration. 1) Names on the itinerary were messed up despite me be bringing in our passports (I’m still personally sorting this out with the airline.) 2) Poor communication, multiple attempts trying to contact the travel agent. Calls were diverted to voicemail which no one got back to me. When I called again, I was told the travel agent dealing with my case had left. (A company of this size should have procedures in place so customer gets looked after when a staff leaves) 3) At the time of the initial booking I wanted to book the skycouch due to the kids. I was advised by the agent that I have to wait until the airline opens up their seat booking a month prior to departure. However, during a follow up call with Flight Centre I was told this should have been done at the start as now it’s too late. (Exactly why I asked for it months in advance to avoid this from happening) 4) During the follow up call Flight Centre mentioned they can only see 3 people on the booking but we are a family of 4 and I have certainly paid for 4 people. I expressed my dissatisfaction during the follow up call and was told to email their "customerexperience EM" address in which I’ve had no response. This is how they deal with their complaints by ignoring their customers yet were quick to take their money. Not to offer any type of resolution to the problems that they have caused as a company. Save your time, energy and headache and go to different travel agent, if I had known all of this I certainly would have… *Update: Flight Centre made contact regarding the complaint email. They confirmed all bookings are correct and was able to book us on the skycouch. I appreciate them for resolving this situation. I wished they could have sorted this out prior to being escalated to a complaint.

Positive experience: I bought the air ticket in November 2019 with Thai Airways through Flight Centre. Got canceled due to COVID-19, and waited for 2.5 years to get part of the money back. Funny thing is the staff taking care of me was disappeared without any notice, luckily I contacted Flight Centre and new staff takes care of my situation now, and she is very helpful. But I wonder Flight Centre actually contacted to me and give me refund if I didn't contact them?!?!?! Anyway, I'm still waiting for another part of the money will be back and Flight Centre will contacte me as soon as possible! Then by that time, I will change the STARS for 5! Update from last feedback...I got my all money from Thai Airways came back today! But just because my 6th sense told me the remaining money must be back. So instead of asking this branch, I straight to contact to the head office, then found out our money was actually sitting there since 1 week ago....

Negative experience: PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEIR TRAVEL INSURANCE THRU COVER MORE. I got mucked around when my flight got cancelled, they promised me and says on their brochure that in an event of cancellation we get covered of up to $2000. I was on the phone with Flight centre and also Cover more in the middle of the night in airport but no could promise me anything. When selling a product they will be super fast in doing so but when claiming they couldn't care any less. i had to pay extra $1000 for everything and didn't even get $1 out of travel insurance. VERY DISAPPOINTED :( . THIS IS JUST A QUICK WAY OF MAKING MONEY... COMPLETE RIP OFF. DO NOT PURCHASE IT, IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. NOTHING IS GUARANTEED. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AA TRAVEL INSURANCE IS THE BEST THEY COVERED MY DAD FOR SIMILAR INCIDENT LAST YEAR
