Fantastic experience: I came through on Friday evening to book domestic flights with some travel vouchers we had, and the only guy working there told us he couldn’t book us Jetstar flights as he had to call and didn’t seem at all like he wanted to help even though we had money to spend. We felt quite disheartened as this has happened before where he told us to book online even though we can’t use our vouchers online, came back in the next day on Saturday morning really nervous as we needed to get flights booked! Dylan Shore helped me out and he was amazing and so helpful! He sorted us out in no time and answered all my questions, and was just really happy to help! He’s the best!

Negative experience: Your problems with the airline should not be passed on to the customer. I bought Turkish Airline flights from Auckland to Saudi with flight centre. My flight had been cancelled twice. The first time it was rearranged and I adjusted the day of my departure for an alternative flight. The second time, Turkish airlines emailed me directly to inform me my flight had again been cancelled. I called flight centre multiple times and was informed that my flight was still confirmed and to call them back later on. I called back a few days later, there were still no changes on the system and I was advised to call the airline myself. When I called the airline, they confirmed that my flight was cancelled and that I should go back to my agency where I bought my ticket. I went into the store to be told that something was going on with Turkish airlines and they have ceased all communication with the agency. I was informed I needed to call the airline myself or call the Flight centre call centre for assistance as I had bought my ticket online. I called flight centre again, they were still advising me that my flight was not cancelled and when I told them that I had contacted the airline myself and it was cancelled they said they would get someone to call the airline to confirm and for me to wait for an email from them. I never received an email and I called them back. The operator was helpful and asked me to wait on the line so she could coordinate with Turkish airline directly. However, the only option she gave me was to change my flight so I arrived 3 days later than my original arrival date. She offered a refund which would take at least 12 weeks to process. My flight is in 2 weeks. I told her I need the funds to buy another flight to get to Saudi if there are no suitable alternative flights. She transferred me to another department which was not even open at the time. If you need your customers to contact the airline directly I see no point in buying through an agency. I might as well buy my ticket directly through the airline. Very unhelpful. Until now my problem is still not solved. I had to contact the airline again directly and wait for confirmation on their side. If there are issues between Flight centre and Turkish airlines then you should really sort out your own problems and not pass it on to your customers.

Turkish Airlines have updated their agreement with Sabre, which is one of the global airline GDS' (airline booking systems), so this is not a Flight Centre only situation. I can see that you have logged your case with our customer relations team, so the team will be in touch with your shortly to discuss and investigate this further for you.
Negative experience: Went in there today to book a holiday trip worth at least $12k. Two staff members sat at the back assisting customers, both noticed us however neither acknowledged our presence by asking us to sit down and wa it or come back in a while..not even a welcome, will be with you shortly. So we just left. Basic service clearly non-existent

Negative experience: Would never book with this branch again. Originally over charged us and we only received a refund when we went back to confront them about it . Which is sad because you pay extra to book in store to not have these hiccups . Secondly, they booked my 7 year old daughter on a seat down the other end of the plane to me which I had to have fixed by staff at the airport. Honestly disgusted with the whole experience

Negative experience: Pathetic service by Bailey. Treated me in a condescending manner & just couldn’t be bothered telling me information. He’d quoted me economy when I asked for first class.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with Flight Center, particularly thanks to Dylan Shore. I needed help with a reimbursement for an Emirates flight, and Dylan was incredibly diligent and supportive throughout the process. It took a year to force the hand of Emirates but they never gave up. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I would like to take time to express how great and comfy it felt when Talita was looking after me. Even though she is very busy, she took time to call me and explain in detail about my travel plans and options. She found best flight to my final destination which I didn’t even knew I had the option to buy tickets to my little village back home starting from Auckland Nz. After Covid I make sure I only travel with travel agents to help me out in case something goes wrong or unexpected. Talita has a lot of knowledge of travelling specially on South America routes. Unfortunately with our agents being in such high demand with travel enquiry skyrocketing, we are finding that the demand is outstripping our ability to answer every call, whilst still assisting customers in store & over emails. If you can, we'd recommend you pop into your local store if you can, to make an appointment & chat with our team :)
Negative experience: I initially went to the store wanting to book a trip to Australia from 22nd January 2024 but instead the agent book in November 2023 after showing intending travel date from flight centre app ,then I had to pay $118 for changing and worse than that I provided the wrong travelling date to my visitor application… I always book through flight centre app but won’t use any agent for any future bookings.

Positive experience: It's okay, one guy took almost a week to do up our quote. When we finally got it after emailing and asking, he got it done but had incorrect dates of the accommodation when this was all given to him at the time of walk-in. Fantastic experience: First time using a travel agent, and first time travelling to Europe (solo) in July this year, and was supported by Sidh and Brad at Flight Centre - Newmarket. My experience was the best I could've asked for, all my questions were answered, the team got me super excited about the trip, I got a really good deal, and my trip was that of a lifetime! I had an absolute ball and would definitely recommend their services to anyone :)

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. My refund was processed 21 weeks ago and I was told it would take up to 18 weeks. Not only is it a month late, but I have not received any responses to my emails requesting an update. There is a severe lack of organization within this company as I am struggling to get a response. I thought flight center was a renown company, but am wondering if I have just been scammed $3,000 now.
Negative experience: Calling the New Market flight centre is a nightmare. 4 days total I’ve tried calling at least 4-6 times to ask when my email will be coming through of my flight details that I paid but wasn’t confirmed due to an unknown reason, our trip is in a couple of weeks, therefore the need for these details is urgent. I was told I was going to receive an email confirming my payment etc and it’s been almost 2 weeks now. I can never get anyone one on the phone and I know the store isn’t very busy. I’ve tried calling at different times of the day including the quietest periods and still no answer. Your answer machine advised to leave a message and that I will hear back from you in a day or two and still no call back. It’s making the experience rather frustrating.

Negative experience: We have been waiting for over a month for travel details, a draft or contact at the minimum regarding our Honeymoon in Europe - the agent, Cody, promised us that he will get back to us within a few working days at most after our first in person session. We called and followed up on the matter two weeks after the initial meeting, assuming he may have forgotten or things got in the way. Another two weeks has passed and there is no point waiting any longer for him to do what he said he would do. We were more than happy to pay any fees incurred during this process as I made it clear to him, but I guess that did not matter either. I have personally given up on waiting for him to get back to us, I don’t think he represents the brand as I’ve always trusted Flight Centre, if you book with Cody just bare in mind he may not keep to his word and as such, lower your expectations to avoid disappointment. Fyi- he’s a good guy, I would just take what he says with a grain of salt and be cautious when he gives timeframes.

Negative experience: Worst flight center i have ever been to due to the service we received from the Assistant Team Leader Sidh Mahida, the one who sits in front of the shop. We were there to book for a holiday and he made us feel uncomfortable by saying incorrect information in a condescending manner to my Colombian partner such as 'If he needs visa to France then he needs visa to New Caledonia' without verifying the info. Aparrently he does not need a visa to go to New Caledonia. He was also sarcastic when we asked if there is a flight through AirCalin on the day we want to travel as he only offered Air New Zealand but we can see that it is avaible online and he said 'Well, you can book online' in a very sarcastic way as if we were challenging him which we weren't. He also said they don't do 'Price Match' anymore when we weren't even asking him to do so! Such a bad service if you can even call that a service. We don't recommend this shop at all and if you ever do, avoid talking to this 'Assistant Team Leader'! I can't believe they have someone like this in front of the shop who makes customer feel bad about their travel! What a terrible experience!!!!

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a trip to Europe with Flight Centre and was fortunate enough to work with Brad as my travel agent. From the very beginning, Brad was professional, helpful, and efficient in making sure my trip was planned to perfection. Not only did Brad take the time to understand my specific travel needs and preferences, but he also provided valuable recommendations and insights that enhanced my trip experience. He was always quick to respond to my questions and provided excellent customer service throughout the entire booking process. One of the things I appreciated most about working with Brad was his attention to detail. Negative experience: Pity have to leave a star. Sat with an agent, left all details requested to email me quotes. Agent never bothered to. Popped in again, waited over half an hour and agent eventually walked out, no apology for not sending email and asked me to wait another 30 minutes! Seriously lacking in customer service. Will not go back there.

Negative experience: I believe the manager there is quite rude and needs some customer service experience. Customer service at the store is quite poor. They think they know everything but they didn’t know everything. And coming from the point of trying to help with empathy would really help.
