Fantastic experience: Georgia and Ashika were very good to deal with. It has been over a decade since I traveled, so they took the time to explain all the details and offered good suggestions and travelling advice. The process was backed up with timely emails and printed material. They gave me their contact details for emergencies when I was overseas. Thanks very much. I was wary after reading the older, poor reviews on this branch and the cut-and-paste response by the managers. But I tried them out and I am glad I did. I think they are a very professional team and I was confident with their work and to have them handle my travel plans.

Fantastic experience: After a couple of months scouring the internet for long haul flights and feeling increasingly overwhelmed, I walked into Flight Centre where I was met by the lovely Georgia. I explained what I was looking for and she patiently went through all my options, answered all my queries and I genuinely felt like she cared. Her customer service skills are second to none, and her knowledge is vast. Within no time we had my flights booked and I went from feeling anxious and overwhelmed to excited for my trip! Massive thank you Georgia for all your help, highly recommend!

Positive experience: Hit and miss here ! Depends on who attends to you ! Was disappointed when the Korean Airline had to inform us about the K-ETA within 5 days of departure Flight centre was clueless but apologetic and the problem was now mine, undue stress that was not needed a few days before a flight Lesson here ! Do your own research and updates … their apologies can not account for this induced stress Travel agents have too many clients to value you ! Overall lessons learnt , make resolve to do my own bookings in the future

Negative experience: Had multiple issues with flights and received little to no support from Flight centre team. Arrived at the airport to be told flight was cancelled. Did not hear from them about the cancellation nor did they help sort alternate plans. Dissapointing service and will not bother to spend the 150 per person paid for somebody else to sort this. Booked to ensure we flew together and we were split up on flights over different dates which ruined the end of our holiday.

Negative experience: My friend and I booked our flight tickets through Flight Centre Sylvia Park with the hope of having an easy travel experience and being able to sit together on our connecting flights. Instead we were left with a horrible experience with Ananya not replying to emails and had to request a transfer to a different Travel Agent. Charlotte then took over our booking to help us get the tickets booked, but she was also slow on replying to emails with questions and not phoning us back after promising to return calls. We tried to check in our flights yesterday to realise they never supplied us with the needed reference number for our 1st flight. We phoned them with an urgent request which they were going to phone us back about…and we’re still waiting for them to call. Very very bad customer service and a fun holiday turned into a nightmare. Thanks for ruining our trip.

Negative experience: Horrible service. A couple of weeks ago my partner and I went to get some advice about flights and to book our trip to Spain. The woman with the red/black glasses served us and seemed very disinterested in our needs and did not help one bit. When we got there she was the only person free to serve us and she was sitting on her phone scrolling or texting for 10mins before she even greeted us. She basically showed us the door and told us to book online because there is ‘no point’ in booking with us due to our service fee. She didn’t answer any of our questions and made us feel very unsettled about this trip. We left and did not book flights with her. I would not recommend dealing with her if you plan to go to flight centre sylvia park. We then got served by Jenna Branes at the Botany flight centre, and she really helped us and made us feel good and confident about our trip. Answered all of our questions and even told us she can help with trains and busses. We booked our flights through her the next day and were happy to pay the service fee. Very disappointed as the lady at Sylvia park underestimated us and wasted our time.

Negative experience: I will share my detail experience latter on but after one week I got an email that my seats are not yet confirmed and they are charging for more money. Being your customer, it is your responsibility to resolve the matter. I am travelling with my family and told from the beginning when I came for reservations that due to new born, we can't sit separately. I am taking these reviews back until my seating arrangement is confirmed.

Negative experience: Quiet an appalling service both from Slyvia Park via the manager and the customer service. Tried to contact as the mucked up with our room in Lake Tekapo. Very unhelpful team!!!

Negative experience: This whole experience was a nightmare. Tasi got our names wrong on the tickets, didn't listen to the type of accommodation we asked her to book so we booked this ourselves. 6 of us traveling with 3 apartments. We were always going for 7 days she booked our flights for 8. Never mentioned documentation for Rarotonga and coming back into New Zealand.

Negative experience: Don’t even bother with this Flight Centre they are absolutely useless and all of their responses are untimely costing me my trip!! I am absolutely disappointed that I was not notified that my flights had increased in price and were no longer available. My Christmas travel plans have been completely ruined due to this stores negligence, poor time management and lack of customer support. Do yourself a favour and stay away!

Negative experience: Absolutely pathetic, impatient and lazy service from Charlotte. Would definitely not recommend. No effort at all given to help find affordable airfares. Felt like she is being discriminatory. If you’re serious about booking flights I would definitely recommend Manukau. Don’t waste your time in Sylvia.

Negative experience: This is for the Pukekohe one. Web site said open on a Saturday. We get down there and they were closed. On there door it said open 9 till 1pm but there was no life in there at all.

Fantastic experience: Alice and the customer service woman at Manukau Westfield branch were super busy and apologetic about not been able to answer their phones. Even under pressure they maintained top customer service. Kudos to both of you flight centre are fortunate to have such employees.

Negative experience: Sylvia Park branch (who I booked with) got my name wrong, my email address wrong and also my departure date wrong but Tasi sorted it out, she was fantastic, if I could I would give her a 5star rating.

Negative experience: Terrible service received by Tasi and Charlotte. I asked if they were able to waive the credit card fee on a travel booking. Tasi proceeded to call Charlotte about it and they had a good laugh at my expense, right in front of me!! I was appalled and took my business elsewhere. I have never been treated so rudely before and will certainly be taking this up with your Customer Complaints team in Head Office. But I think others should also know about the disgusting service I received so they know to proceed with caution when working with this office.

Negative experience: Terrible service. I have no confidence in them. My advice is to go somewhere else. I was told QANTAS flight sale was on for a while. I emailed them the flights I wanted and was then told I had less than 30 mins to pay for them before the sale ended. They messed up my booking. I tried to access my flight details via the QANTAS website but could not find them. I tried 2 times to sort this out with QANTAS before I gave up. I was on hold for over 2.5hrs on the Saturday and over 1.5 hrs on the Sunday. FC also put my Air NZ freq flyer number on QANTAS bookings. I tried emailing FC to sort this out but didn’t hear back so I called them. I was not happy with the service(They were going to charge me more to sort this out) so I asked to speak with the manager. I was told they would call me back SOON. I waited for HOURS. NOTHING!!! No one got back to me. They just don’t seem to care about their customers. I was planning to book activities and accommodation for my Australia trip with them plus look into flights to Rarotanga. NO way I would deal with them again. People are uncertain about travelling Post COVID. This experience would put off many people. I complained about them online. Within minutes, Victoria from their Customer Service Centre called me and offered to sort things out for me. Victoria is amazing. It seems that some people with Flight Centre do care. Negative experience: Very poor service. Asked them to call me back reg my booking but haven't heard back from them. You can make your booking through the supplier's website. You dont need FlightCentre to do that for you!

Negative experience: Horrible service one time i booked flights to Australia for $186 i asked if i could have 5 seats the person said sorry cant be done. I left went outside rang flight centre new market they booked all 5 seats for me for $185 for each seat. I went into Sylvia told them what i had done they were shocked. I paid left with a big smile on my face. Today i booked flights for $245 to fly over to Aussie one way when i went down to pay a different person served me and tried to add extra on top. Not happy as it was stressful for me to find transport for my wheelchair to get down there. When i asked if we could start fresh the lady said no sorry im too busy. I pointed out to her that there were flights advertised for $198. I will never go through them again. Watch out for them.
Negative experience: Worst service and misleading information to customers to sell the packages. I was told 300 dollars credit per person for my cruise by the booking agent and I only got 275 Dollars for two people. Booking agent lied to me in several emails and then did not agree to what she had said to us. Then Manager phoned and said the agent said by mistake that we will get 300 per person but it was 300 for two people, she said that she can't send an email to confirm this as it is not covered by their legal side. Now we still only see 275 dollars credit in our ticket. I have seen some news in the papers about Flight Centre using the same kind of tactics to mislead other customers. Please don't use them as you will be mucked around.
